We had a couple threads on this a while ago. Quite a few people had it replaced. But it does not affect every C4 if i remember correctly. Can not quite remember what happens if it does malfunction though.

Mine went from spongy, and juddering and slipping when i gave it too much to not being able to engage at all in a few days of city use. Suppose that 2 hours stuck in traffic in the morning constantly playing with the clutch killed it. But least I now know there is a real problem with some of the earlier ones like mine. Thats been acknowledged.

Only picture I have really taken though so far is one of my new puppy. As dont have many pictures of her so wanted some of her while she is still fairly small. Managed to snap one of her in the split second my mum could keep hold of her without her trying to run away and play or chew something. Went into a couple shops today and ended up making an impulse purchase after speaking to a few guys about things and looking at cameras in my range. I now have a 400D could not afford any other lenses yet so just got the one that comes with it. Not had chance to play with it much yet as only got home a short while ago but battery is on charge now then will be looking at it a bit more. Will be asking advice on lenses though as i want something that will do some nice distance shots. Something for doing cityscapes etc at night that kind of thing.

Ok have between £500 and £600 to spend on a half decent SLR camera. Possibly could go to more if its worth it. But wanting advice on what to buy and what things I should look at etc. Was looking at the Canon 400D. I know theres a few of you that are into your photography or get paid for it etc so want some good sound advice chaps please. Just sick of my other 2 cameras as well there both pretty naff and getting on a bit now. My main digi cam is getting on for 6 years old now. So time for something new and would like an SLR this time. Where a fair few of us can say our dealers contacted us themselves to say they now had the notice in with part numbers etc to order. My dealer phoned me when the notice came in and said they had already ordered the parts for me. Took them a day to sort it all out and some other bits at the same time.

VTR+ and VTS have colour coded door handles as standard. Red interior would be nicer if it was not the entire centre of the seat. But smaller parts Say the bolsters if they had gone with some Recaro seats etc. Should have also done something more with the suspension etc made it into a proper special edition not just a cosmetic one.

remap is usually a better bet as its more tailored for your engine similar price and no extra parts resulting in less to explain come warranty issues etc. As a tuning box can be related to clutch, flywheel, transmission etc. Even if it was wrong before on its own they can still choose not to pay out. But they can be fairly good. Personally i would choose a remap considering costs are not much different.

£1000 would not insure most of us. my first years insurance was close to the £2k mark.

When you say 1 item could that be say a package performance upgrade from someplace that fits it as an all in one bit? Or say get my stereo upgraded as a package that comes to nearly £1000 etc? As that would be my idea. Maybe spend the cash on new cams and fitting etc. Or some nice 18 or 19" OZ SuperT wheels.

What are they like in the summer when the suns been on them? My dads old car and my mates old car which had leather used to burn your arms etc when you got in. If you caught the leather and if you were wearing shorts thats it. your legs felt like they were on fire.

Im not gonna overly moderate the forums when that happens people leave. Seen it on so many other boards. Plus I think most people like the laid back attitude in here. Only when I need to do something will I do something. And I never said the C1 was not a fun little car. Its just for the price which is quite a bit you can buy better cars that are brand new as well. I was really looking forward to driving one and it just didnt have the same impact as other small cars had on me. I mean I drive a Cinqeucento as well for gods sake its not exactly like i dont drive small cheap cars a lot. But the C1 just was not that great. The other thing is the C1 is only a couple centimeters smaller than the C2 and the C2 is better built better to drive and cheaper. Basically at the moment I just think the C1 is a little daft in citroens current range when they have the C2 which is a tiny car as well. Smaller than a Clio.

I was annoyed on the day i made the post mainly because i had booked a car C4 size so said i should be getting a picasso as they had only C1's apart form the Picasso get there and there was no picasso i was given a C1 to which i then said to the guy and how do I get a wheelchair in that? My mum is currently in a wheelchair and was taking her down to wales bit difficult to get a wheelchair in a C1. And im a big guy as most who have met me on here will know. Getting me in a C1 was not comfortable. And trying to get a mate who is 6"5 into it proved rather difficult. Not the kind of car that was suitable for my needs basically way to small and cramped. It was a little basic as well but that was not so bad no different to my old Clio. But my Clio was so much better handling wise, engine wise even price wise you can get Clio's so cheap now. I loved my Clio could not like the C1. Was also just more comfortable my Clio. I had it for 4 days I think it was and in the end it just sat on the drive and I took one of the other cars out instead or got someone else to drive. And BMW's modern ones have lost everything cool about them. They have not made a good looking car in years. They perform well but unless its got an M badge on it there typically dull to drive.

The Peugeot parts will likely be the exact same ones you have in your car anyway. If you open your bonnet you will see the Peugeot logo on a fair few things under your bonnet. But I would say take it to Citroen in case there is anything needing doing they will also check if there is any recalls out on it etc and sort them out at the same time.

Won't go into my opinion of BMW's especially £84,000 ugly BMW's.

Many many cars get recalled VW's BMW's Audi's etc they all have small problems at first when there is a brand new model Thats why a lot of companies just keep altering there product and changing it externally and internally but leaving all the important bits the same. Just give it a facelift.

Will order mine if i can make it but looking at the date not sure now. Only remembered im going on holiday sometime in July hopefully. When i have spoken to the lads and we have something booked then i will know for definite. If I can make it im there.

I find the coupe so easy to reverse park. Due to the straight window if you think you can reach out and touch the other car through the rear window your about close enough usually around a foot or 2 left of space behind. Front is the same But im used to having to park it as close to my front door as possible eaving just enough room for my legs for the other cars to get on the drive. Only a smallish drive and got to get 3 cars on there not fun. Also means i have to move usually 2 of them when i need to get my mum outside because of the wheelchair lol. Thus in summary...parking sensors are for girls or people who need to learn how to park properly again :unsure: :D

Might end up in the new Sega rally game...dont know though.

Bought PES6 today just been getting completely raped on the game for the past hour and a half. Fun but my god do I suck at football games.

Cant say there typically noisy engines no. Mines near enough silent to be honest.
