Edited...somewhat. Less time i have to use this keyboard the better. If you wanna spend a bit more money though get some sound proofing stuck in the doors as well. will give you nicer sound and get rid of a fair few rattles in the process.

Exhaust trim is an available extra you can get at the dealers too. I was thinking of getting it put on my 1.6 as it looks a bit nicer than the plain black.

Username is the same. Will get a members motors section tomorrow when i get back land in liverpool around 7 so then have to pick my car up and a few other bits and pieces as its still in the bodyshop. Will sort it during the night when no one is on the forum as things will probably be messed about when it is first added. Might add a spotted section as well and a couple other bits and pieces any other suggestions for new forums...Stick them in here and i will get them up.

Lol sounds like what I used to be like before I got my own car. And even when I got my own car I still just used to get my dad to drive me places in it as I was unable to drive it for nearly 2 years. Bloody doctor :/ Now I try to avoid driving my mum or dads cars cause there bloody awful compared to the C4. But my mate used to bug me to let him drive it. The response was a rather kind "and you can go and fk yourself!" It was a deserved response knowing that he has had more accidents in his car that were his fault in a month than I have in my near 3 years driving. My non drinking mate is on my insurance though as its easier when we go out to take my car and let him drive us home. getting 5 people in his punto when 2 of our mates are over 6"5 is not an easy task. Im just big.

Premier membership thing is nearly sorted now as well. From what I have been told my stickers etc are in the post. And he is still getting discounts sorted out. best thing is if your all members and yuou want remaps you get a discount and if a few order them at a local area you get even bigger discounts.

Yeah same here i´ve lost mine somewhere i know i put it somewhere safe when i moved house unfortunately im not entirely sure where that somewhere safe is no more it could be in the attic in a bag or it could be in one of the many boxes left from the move.

Cause thats not an MP3 cd so you cant get 100+ songs on it which is the whole point of mp3 discs.

When they do something like that you say really cause I only replaced them 3 days ago. And watch there faces drop.
-
possibility they couild have put a software update on it but dont think that should have changed anything. Maybe a loose pipe or something causing you too loose boost they fixed and replacment filters etc could have made it a little nicer to drive.

Big rage against the machine fan as well. Basically listen to a lot of metal / rock / indie. Witht he occasional bit of dance chucked in.

You will need a small adaptor for the aerial on an aftermarket unit it is only around 4 quid though. Can get them from most car audio stores. All i did with my own. Cant remember if its din to iso or iso to din though. http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/category.asp?category=801 I just know i got one of those been a long time since i had to get behind the back of the stereo.

Well normally they should be at 37 and 40 I think it is. Remember the larger alloys require more pressure to correctly inflate the tyres due to the profile of tyres etc. I know my old car 33 was normal. 26 etc is way too low thats for sure.

My rest has never slid easily you have to put an effort into making it move and does not go back easily either always thought it felt pretty solid to be honest.

Mines a 55 and no interior picture sorry wont have one either till I can get back to England. Im not sure if its proper leather but it is does not feel plasticy my centre armrest. The ones on the door are material as well. Which seem to attract lots of dead skin.

Thats just different powerbands though at 3rd in the diesel at 30 your in the torque band the petrol needs to be in 2nd for the same torque band and will pull away form the diesel then. 1.6 petrol also needs a 3rd gear change to get to 62 it tops out at 58 -59 in 2nd. 32 in 1st. Either way with some twisties in the middle and the higher reving engine of the petrol the petrol will come out on top due to lower weight above the front wheels resulting in less understeer and having a better powerband you can stay in longer through bends. And on the motorway i have had the 1.6 up to 48mpg. Its not exactly bad from a petrol. Admittedly on average i see under 30 but i drive it fairly hard and i do very few motorway miles my average speed is usually around 15mph.

My central armrest is leather on my VTR+ and i just have the fabric orange black interior. I know mines the older model and you cant get my interior no more which is a shame as i personally think it was one of the nicest ones you could get. But the plastics are quite soft and the dash is a material type stuff. When i was in a golf i thought it was well put together but even more plasticy.

Not too bad really. Was getting quotes for stang / corvette coming in at between 1500 and 2k Which i suppose for a 500bhp car at 23 living in Manchester is somewhat reasonable.

And whats it like on the vx?

Can not beat ONE blasting out my stereo. Just before the fuitar solo comes in and theres all the double bass from the bass drum its like having a sub massage then the solo comes in absolutely amazing. Was rocking out in my car the other day on the way to the body shop.

Same with me no insurance hike for spoiler or rub strips and any allowys no matter what size no hike either. If i add an induction kit or something similar it gets knocked up or if i add non standard citroen parts it gets hiked up but original equipment on the options list they can bugger off. You dont declare leather seats or sat nav. I had mine on in city centre manchester parked there everday and night for months only 1 weekend i came out to it partially hanging off. Lesson learnt dont park it outside of a busy club in the centre of the main clubbing area of manchester for 3 days without visiting it.

The whine is cause by the gears being straight cut rather than helical like the forward gears not the synchro which just stops the grinding. Most race boxes use straight cut gears which is why they make the whining sound.

23 2yrs NCB free at moment but lowest quote i have found is £700 for me classed as a student. Used to be over £2k back where i used to live...the pleasures of living in city centre Manchester. I did get a quote on a VTS a few months ago for £1140 though. and insurance should drop again come february when i get another yr NCB.

Id do thjat but it´d be just my luck to put the fogs on and then get pulled over for forgetting to turn them off since you have to put the fronmts on before you can put the rears on in the c4. Would like to wire them up so when you put full beams on though it switches the fogs on too.

proibably very highly strengthened the glass as well. The panaroramic roof on the new astra 3 door is bulletproof to keep the rigidity of the car and the rollover protection there.

Nice on on the car mate sure you will love it. GFet some pictures up. Will make a new members car forum i think when i get back for people to post pictures on. All C4´s come with 4 or 6 speakers depending on model some come with more if you have the jbl upgrade. Just check the audio settings menu and make sure its all setup correctly.
