Not read the enitre thread but seems as though theres a bit of a fight going on between a couple of you so. Gonna ask if you feel the need to get ratty with each other do it via private messages make up appologise do what ever just try keep it out of the forums as other people dont generally wanna have to read everyones oppinions of others unless of course the person is deemed as a complete wanked by all. Just reminded me of when someone was tailing me i kept braking tryoing to get him to back off little brake test. He didnt like that so when i did it once he just pulled right out. I had had enough of him giving me abuse and sitting with his fullbeams on behind me so when he went to overtake i dropped it down into 2nd and booted it. He got up to the side of me and i would not let him get past. Until he saw the bollard infront of him :angry: He got the idea and funnily enough backed off a fair bit then. Think he learnt his lesson...dont annoy me :lol:

Mines got metallica in there at the moment i had not had a listen to them in ages and was going through my mp3 collection so decided to make a metallica cd. Also chucked some dance tracks and other bits and pieces on there.

It actually takes away from sound quality having the rears. As I said mines setup to be a somewhat low end SQ system. I only have 2 speakers up front 2 tweeters and a sub woofer. Which if you check most audio forums is optimum listening. Having the rears on moves the soundstage backwards which is a bad thing especially if its selected to be sent to the rear more. Either way see you guys in a week im off in 20 minutes.

Phase the music to the front mate and listen to it properly. Your ears aren't pointed behind you. You dont go to a concert and stand with your back to the stage same thing applies in a car. Get it faded to the front and you should hear more clarity and pick more things up in the song. When you listened to mine that time I only had the 2 front speakers on. Nothing coming from the rear at all.

The washers aren't to affect you that much but stop you blinding oncoming motorists. As incorrectly setup HID lights that are dirty when viewed oncoming look like cars that have full beams on and its bloody blinding.

Ouch mate. Get over to http://www.pepipoo.com/ and see if anything can be done about it. Speed cameras are not always legal they have to meet certain requirements before there allowed. And if there are no clear 40 signs anywhere near by which meet the signs as they are in the highway code you can also get it wiped. Loads of little rules and if the police aren't going to stick to them why should the motorist?

The door handle fix has been known about for bloody ages now. Had mine done at it 1000 mile service over a year ago not been a problem since it went in a few days ago to citroen again and now suddenly its sticking occasionally god knows why. But at the same time they took the liberty of ripping the wires out of my stereo. And i mean literally ripping them out and in doing so have lost the rubber washers didnt reconnect any of it and just left wires dangling down in the engine bay. I would not mind if it was disconnected and put back together properly but you could see where they literally ripped it out as all the screws holding the cable in place were still well in with bits of cable attached to them. What i dont understand is why did they need to disconnect the stereo to work on my clutch?

What settings do you have? And can you access the amp and see the settings on that? As that is what will make the most difference. If anyone is near to me though i'll offer to come have a little play with it see if i can make it sound any better.

20mph in mine before it starts calculating anything. But if you are stopped your mpg will go down as your effectively doing 0mpg. Also depends on driving style what gear in your at any given moment etc. Once im up to 30 if theres a downhill gradient or a completely flat section i'll stick it in 5th gear and mpg goes up a fair bit at 30mph.

Think you loose out on bluetooth but you get a phone built into the navidrive.

Have a look see if you can find it if you do and theres some adjustments on it like gain, phase etc let us know and post some pictures of it up so I can have a look. Might be able to set it to get a bit more out of it. And having it faded towards the front is a good idea anyway I dont have my rear speakers on unless someone is in the back. Its more than loud enough to be heard without the rear speakers.

The A-Class was a crap car though. Not often you get a prestige marque recalling its car cause it flips over during certain evasive maneuvers. Safety at its finest.

DSG box is a little different though. That is a great bit of kit where as the EGS is more of a normal manual without a clutch pedal. Not a dual clutch system like the DSG.

Id like a go of a car with the EGS box on to try it out. Shame they have not got it in the sportier models though as im sure the 6th gear would be useful in the VTS180. And since it changes as quick as the manual I would not have much complains there. Just every single box of this type i tried so far I did not like but they were cheaper cars so its a bit different were also older.

Mine was stuck on like that by myself once i complained it didn't last long enough at the dealers and popped off they then replaced all the tape and did it again. Came off 3 weeks later. So I bonded it to the window not come loose in months also a little harder to yank off now. As my spoiler was ripped off my car once outside of a club.

You can up bass and treble right on a -5 to +5 thing right? Can do that on thr RD4 but doesn't give you the ability to control the sub individually as far as i am aware. Didn't mean that on mine i have full adjustment of frequencies, amount of drop off, graphic eq's parametric eq's etc also have a separate section just for the sub woofer if i want more bass in a song i have a 0 - 15+ scale i can use like the normal bass thing in the C4. The options are never ending on the head unit i have it took me weeks of fine tuning to get it all sorted.

Sure you asked me what sikoflex to use to bond it? Will find out tomorrow for ya as my cars due in the guy who crashed into me has already paid the body shop up front so its going in there tomorrow.

At 1000rpm's your car is producing torque and power this is getting transferred to the wheels with it being a diesel there will be a fair amount of low end torque which will be moving you along. Its normal. Will likely get up to around 8 - 12mph in 2nd with out anything needing to be touched its useful in slow moving traffic though. My C4 is exactly the same.

bare in mind VTS180's are going at 9,500 - 10,000 2nd hand £8,000 for a 1.6 VTR you will be very lucky.
