  1. If ya want to be really flashy http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer-av...omo-p-4922.html Only £1300 then you have the more realistic ones. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer-de...0bt-p-5261.html http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer-dehp75bt-p-5150.html They have a bluetooth mic you just position elsewhere and then they interface with your phone when you get in so you can make calls etc through the headunit. Audio controls your out of luck currently people are making them just not out as of yet. As i said you will lose the parking sensors. And audio controls. Everything else you can use as normal so you can still keep the fuel display and time and date etc and move through it as normal. Can see this on my picture below. If you have an ipod this will unit below will control it completely so can stick the ipod in the glovebox out of sight. I have the older version of this in my car and love it. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-dva...eed-p-5140.html What the older one looks like in my car. http://www.mybigspoon.com/wozza/dash.JPG
  2. Works with them all and you will lose. Parking sensors volume, cd player controls on steering wheel. Everything else will still work fine. What kind of headunit you wanting and maximum your willing to pay? Do you want any specific features ipod support, bluetooth etc? Do you mind how it looks be it flashy or would you prefer a more OE style look to it?
  3. http://www.citroenpicasso.org.uk/citroen/i...p;p=entry some there.
  4. Theres a couple but unless your fluent in French or German this is about the best in the UK. There is www.C4owners.co.uk which a few of us are members of. I moderate there as well but the site is only really just starting out. Car is still a bit too rare at the moment I think.
  5. Welcome mate. Car looks good...think it needs a VTS spoiler though. And liking the Type R next to it as well.
  6. Well try dropping in some better speakers first and see what you think. And yes Citroen already have a cable for after market head units to be fitted just ask at the parts department its only cheap as well. About £5 - £10 i think. For sub £100 these below are some of the best. The rainbows are supposed to be one of the best sounding speakers around. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/dls-b6a-p-5115.html http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/rainbow-slx265-p-3853.html Then obviously more you spend better they get. Just generally avoid the more well known brand names like Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer etc. And also consider putting some sound proofing in the doors will give you a bit of a nicer sound and stop any rattles you might get. And yes the JBL sub in the boot is an 8" one I think.
  7. 35 if i remember correctly have to search his posts for pics..
  8. Welshguy has his lowered on 18's. Think he is the only person so far to have his lowered though.
  9. http://c4owners.co.uk/ Few of us use both sites. Its basically knowledge from this site passed onto that site. I just seem to copy and paste most things KFK says lol when someone asks a question.
  10. At a different place this year as well apparently supposed to give better view of the track etc. And making it a little less dangerous for people. We could go under the other C4 site though we have started to change it a bit in reflection of meets and show season etc. The guy who runs the site is currently in talks with a few tuning companies like demon tweaks, angel tuning etc to get us discounts on parts / remaps etc. So for the £5 fee it costs to join the other forum you will get a lot more off a remap if you want one. What he is trying to do now anyway. If it works should be quite good. Were also trying to get insurance companies to give discounts for being part of an owners club few other places get it so worth a try. But i will most likely come along.
  11. Well there looking at it now phoned me earlier getting back to me later on. And thats the point although did some searching on here another guy on here who only posted a couple times mentioned he had to have clutch and flywheel changed at 8500 miles! And im sure i remember dave&trace saying they had a replacement in theres at the meet in Manchester. So maybe this is a little more common than first thought. C4 does not seem to be the only car suffering from it. the Xsaras had occasional one fail at similar mileage. If they try make me pay for it im just gonna direct them here and tell them to search for the word clutch. See how many posts about clutch problems come up. Of the few of us on here got to be less than 40 C4 owners I have counter 5 who have needed new clutches. in cars under 30,000 miles.
  12. Iridis I quite liked but seeing it in the metal I was not as impressed with it but in the books and pictures it looked great. Bitch to keep clean though. The 1.6 vtr+ would definitely be a nicer drive though. Those near 3 seconds off 0-60 are very noticeable. Not to mention the extra toys and not much difference insurance / fuel wise.
  13. Seems the guys on the Clio forums think differently. http://cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=191668 Have to say mine has been more unreliable than my Clio but its a newer car with a lot more to go wrong.
  14. Also get near the 180bhp mark with a remap. But the i think the VTS180 engine is a little wrong for the car it would suit a smaller hatch but the C4 is a big car really does need a turbo 2.0 i think. On something like the C3 / C2 the 2.0 180 would be amazing. Everyone else is doing it to super minis why not Citroen? But best remark was when i parked it up outside a chip shop in scotland. Went in sat down ordered and started to eat about 10 -15 minutes later 2 guys walk in and first thing one of them says is "You see that red citroen that fucking braw like" And carried on talking about it. I just sat there with a smile thinking yeah I made the right choice about my car lol. Was the same day i bought the car.
  15. Do you have a budget in mind? Tweeters etc are easy enough to install and door cards are simple to get off. There 17cm for the front or 6.5". Depending on budget i can recommend speakers and headunit for you and anything else you might want if you want to add an amplifier and add a bigger subwoofer etc. Citroen actually sell the cable needed to install an aftermarket headunit. But if you have parking sensors your going to be out of luck. As they wont sound when you put an aftermarket unit in.

i just leave mine plugged into the centre of the windscreen just above the speedo. wire gets in the way but its the best place for it to go cable is not long enough otherwise.
  17. Can pick them up for around £7,000 now. Which is not that bad considering similar age clio 172/182's go for similar money.
  18. Do love the older cupra not quite as keen on the new shape ones. Although they look alright with the optional bodykit. But they just dont seem to have the same road presence as the older one.
  19. RAC guy seemed to think the clutch was dead. Either way should be replaced by warranty i think shouldn't it? I mean the amount of abuse needed to burn one out in 12k miles would be silly and if anything i drive this car more slowly than the Clio and that never had a single problem. Is there a possibility something else went and me giving it more gas could have burnt it out? The clutch pedal felt harder than usual to press as well. And it just could not hold the power you could pull the pedal right to the top without the car stalling and it'd just start to move off at around 2 - 3mph. and not get any quicker putting foot down just increased revs and nothing happened. Will see what they say at the garage tomorrow though as its not right. Thankfully it was quite close to a mates house when it died so just got them to push it up to his house and got a lift home and left it there.
  20. Mentioned its been juddering and on the motorway the other day i put my foot down to over take revs went up and the car just went no where. So think its possibly something thats been happening a while and the accident probably wont have helped as when I tried to get the cars apart I got that burning clutch smell. Sure there was someone else who went through a clutch rather quickly on there C4 as well. It just should not have died after 12,000 miles. Pedal feel has changed and last night it got harder and harder. Will go up there to speak to them tomorrow and see whats gonna happen though. Just no end of problems with the car recently. I originally thought it had gone into limp home again like the other day as there was just no power but no error messages. But then it got worse as I was driving. But as I said my mates went exactly the same within 15 minutes of him going up the road it went from fine to totally knackered. Mine went the exact same way.
  21. Just had the RAC out to tow my car back to citroen. Clutch is dead. Was asking him if the recent accident could have caused something as when trying to get the cars apart my wheels were jammed and the revs were piling on but nothing was happening. And last night on the way home it just seemed to die. Didnt think they went like that but my friend said his went exactly the same way on his nissan. Just travelling along and that was it just died basically was needed more and more revs to get it anywhere. I limped it into a sidestreet and just left it there. And by limped I mean 2mph. But well I have been complaining about it juddering and slipping for some time. Now maybe that they have a clutch to replace they will listen to me. Either way. Im a little annoyed. But thankfully i have the other car i can use.
  22. I only use 1 body shop there not the most expensive but there custom is based on reputation. Back street garage place. And it speaks for its self when you got there and theres Ferrari's, Merc Sl65 AMG's etc sat there. Do loads of restoration jobs as well. But its gonna have to wait now.
  23. That is fugly. Even worse than the normal 2cv.
  24. If you dont have parking sensors fitted. And you want bluetooth / Ipod connectivity I would suggest going for an after market head unit. Will be the best choice in terms of sound quality and having it all integrated in 1 package with minimal outlay in cash.
  25. Not sure what to do about the C4 Picasso as it should just come under the picasso only sister board. Was thinking of setting the picasso forum link to divert it straight to the other forum. I can add a C6 section but the changes of it every getting used i would think are fairly slim.
