Not many VTS's around and since scott yellow is exclusive to the VTS bound to be even less of them around. Most people dont want a yellow car lol. Although my other car is bright yellow and i love it.

Not sure on that mate seen others that would not sell for £10k. But hey you wanted a scott yellow VTS lol.

Just put my 2nd car up on the loot for sale. Its been up there a few hours and already I have a bunch of emails from scammers trying to purchase it. Not 1 of them can speak proper english. They all want to give me checks they all want pictures and information which was included in the online advert. I added pictures to it lol.

If you want to avoid the spots when you have washed the car dont need to dry it down so well especially if your going to clay it. Just get the clay on there but dont use the quick detailer just mix sme of the shampoo with some water and spray that on instead. No point wasting the quick detailer.

I get like that occasionally. But I just enjoy getting out and driving. When i have not got the chance to take my car out for a few days I can quite happily just go for a drive down some nice country roads listening to some music and just makes me feel happy. Always go for a drive when I feel down for this reason.

Forward facing gatso's cant get you thats why. Thats why there getting replaced with Truvelo's.

You got to laugh i mean not only did he miss the flashing lights. He didnt see the bloody train at the side of the road! There not exactly hard to miss.

Good morning / afternoon people. Not sure what im doing today. Im just very tired because i was unable to sleep. But i was planning on possibly going in search of a job. I also edited the topic for you KFK. :P

C3 is relatively easy to get adaptors for. Caraudiodirect have them so do many other places. But please dont get a sony xplod unit. There crap! Cheap pioneer or Alpine is a better bet similar prices better built better sounding just better all round. Not hard to change but the units usually lose there power for a few seconds when ignition is turned on also depends if you have pressed power button on the stereo when ignition is on / off as to what it does. My Alpine unit when i dont have ignition on stays unpowered if i click it on to battery it powers up and folds outs etc as it should. If i then turn to ignition it folds away again then out again.

I suggest Ebay. Also is there no peugeot part that will fit as sometimes they can be cheaper for parts and there the same thing.

http://www.pepipoo.com Got here theres certain conditions the police have to meet to get you dont on mobile cameras. They MUST wear the bright jackets and the car must be in good view. And a few other things if they didnt do that your ticket cant count as they broke there regulations. If the police are going to break there own rules so can we!

I only did my test 20 months ago but i was told to use engine braking as well as my brakes. But the general thing is most people should use the brakes because there cheaper to replace than a gearbox if you screw it up. I make use of both if im slowing quickly i down shift as i brake as well as a couple other things just helps the car a bit more i find it doesnt seem as jittery. But as i said 3rd at 30 down steep hills is fine in my car wont get much quicker 32 is the most it seems to go to.

Dont worry about it mate there online forums. If someone has a personal go at you i wont mind if you attack them. But these were not personal attacks and most of it was discussing the speed limits not the limiter which was a simple misunderstanding not something you should get so carried away with. I admit to occasionally ragging the car to hell but its good for the engine to be given a good thrashing occasionally. Those people that never see the red line there cars will take longer to run in. They will also never see the peak power a thrashed engine will. Doing this at university all the engines we thrashed all created better seals and had more power and torque. THose we broke in a bit more gently didnt. All new engines are broken in on the assembly line so it makes little difference. And speed limits are in most cases pointless the police are only there ot make money hiding behind corners etc its just stupid oh lets see how many we get so i can get paid more this week. I really wise more of them would get caught but oh no that wont happen cause they can get away with it. They can speed through cameras and nothing happens. Was a thing published a while ago 80% of police officers that get caughts by cameras get let off. While the rest of us have to pay up. How the hell is that fair?!

Not got the diesel i have the petrol but i find my engine braking fine 2nd or 3rd down steep hills will happily sit at 30. Unsure of the diesel maybe need to try a lower gear? It should not be much different to the 206 apart from the car weighing a bit more thus going down hill will want to pick up more speed. Car looks good.

Nothing aimed at you Ciaran mate. There were no personal attacks as far as I can see. Had there been I would step in an do something about it. Sorry you felt that way. But I think you just misunderstood us. Rich, Your perfectly welcome to have an opinion if no one thought any different of anything in the world it would be a boring place and all of us would be driving identical focus's or something. But when was the last time any of us kept at a perfect 70mph on the motorway? And when you did how many other people went flying past you at the time? Most people on the motorway from my experiance seem to keep to 85 and over. Why not raise the limit? The autobahn has less accidents than our motorways do and you can do 150mph+ on the thing. I have been on some national speed limit roads and just thought no way is it a safe road to do 60. And some of them I have though this should be higher I can easily get away with doing 90 down here.

I know what fifes like my family is originally from fife we just moved down here dad was n services and based up there mainly. All my cousins etc still live there which is why i go up quite a lot. Going up next week i think actually. But still whoever was driving it should have known. An the chavs are total benefit living scum lambo running someone over would be met with im suing.

Shorter wheel base will make the 25 corner better or least it should do. I just did not like driving it my clio was a nicer car to drive. More fun. better handling. And when i put my foot on the brakes it actually liked to stop my mates didnt. The clio was a better car then again i think the clio is possibly the best supermini on the market. I have driven most of them and the clio was the nicest one to drive. Mate in the 25 very nearly went into the back of my C4 a few weeks ago as well. I was only pressing the brakes gently. He said he had slammed his on. Hate to think what would have happened had i braked hard as he would have gone into the back of me at quite a speed. Drove 2 25's that were like this. Id have another clio now anyway as it was far more capable round corners than my C4 is. And much more fun as well. Just insurance on a 182 for me is ridiculous. I can get insured on imprezas and evo's etc for less than i can on a clio 182.

You seem to have a lot of issues with yours. But i can say i have had very few bad issues. And talking about build quality i know 3 people with brand new golfs all of which have had problems. My mates new 3 series has had a couple issues. The 1 series recently had a recall as well. The merc A class had loads of issues. Build quality in my C4 is leagues ahead of my mates ZR. But then again you should not compare it to a car thats basically 10 years old. Buy any new car thats been out less than a year and it will have problems. I guarantee it. You have an early C4 it is going to have teething issues which the newer cars wont have. When will people learn new models are not something to buy unless your willing to put up with teething problems! Again in referance to my mates golf. One of the rear light clusters fell off and so did the rear spoiler. This is on a £20k+ GTI. Way i see it thought theres quite a lot of us that are C4 owners on here now and only a couple of you have had problems. Does that not say something? My family has only bought new cars in the last 10+ years we have had 5 brand new cars. we have had fiats, nissans, chevy's etc. All of them had teething issues.

Theres plenty of roads about where the limit is 40 and you could quite easily do 70+ without any danger to anyone. Theres a road right near me all thats near it is fields. 6 lane dual carriageway and its a 30 limit. Its not much different from driving on a motorway yet its a 30 limit. If your observation skills are good enough and you have good car control speed limits can be ignored to a certain extent. Remember a lot of the speed limits you see on roads were set back when cars could barely get to those speeds and could barely corner at speed. I have seen signs saying slow to 30 round a bend and i have quite easily taken it at 50+ without being anywhere near the limit of the car. And why go up to the limiter? Well if your driving the car in a fun way it might be because all the power is up near the red line?

My mates 25 is awful to drive, naff brakes, incredibly dull. interior quality is crap and its just not a very nice car. And thought the ZT had a BMW chassis but the top end one had that lovely mustang engine just detuned.

I have only ever attended 1 cruise. Never bothered even looking at other ones after the 1st. What puzzles me is how the hell the owner of the lambo didnt realise it was gonna happen. I mean honestly! If your gonna do burn outs in more powerful rear drive cars anyway all you need to do is start it then push the foot brake down. Obviously doesnt work the same in a 4wd car its gonna want to go forward no matter what.
-
Sounds like you had a lot of problems but a lot of them if you look around on here have known fixes for the dealership should have sored all those issues out. Have you asked to take another similar mileage VTS out? We have a few owners on here with them most of them have had pretty much trouble free cars. I mean yours is only a month newer than mine and i have had a lot of those issues and now mines pretty much perfect i have 1 squeek to get rid of which dissapears when the car is heated up so not sure what that is.

Dont quite slow to 10mph but if im doing 30 or so and i see national speed limit signs my foot is firmly buried while im in 2nd gear. Country lanes bring out the worst in me.

Thats fine but when its a guy in an Audi TT top down, in middle of december in scotland at 11 at night. I honestly dont see the point. Its just trying to show off. And yeah convertibles are good but in the freezing cold....screw that! I was in my car with the heating all the way up.
