When the alarm comes on does it sate anything on the screen? As i've never heard of an alarm for the speed before in the C4.

The one they gave me was terrible, Had no petrol in it at all so first thing i had to do was put petrol in it, it was a 1.1 and it was absolutely hell i went to over take someone not thinking about it dropped it down into 3rd foot on gas...no power foot on floor...no power 2nd gear...no power i then moved back in and decided over taking was a bad idea. Motorway was also interesting it had trouble reaching 70 for some reason its must have had a very hard life is all i can say as my other cars with similar sized engines have never been that bad. My old clio could happily cruise at 100mph all day long. The C3 was just awful. At the time though i was thinking my C4 was horrible due to the many teething issues and recalls it had been through. Now though i love it. And seriously thinking about moving up to a VTS.

Oh you will have fun with the C3... I got one as a curtesy car and I was looking forward ot giving it them back and getting my C4. Such a massive difference in build quality and handling and ride etc just no comparison.

Guessing you wont be recommending that site for business in future? lol. Just get on to them about it threaten to return the car due to being messed about etc. Give them a deadline to sort it out.

Cause then how would we differenciate between the 2 types of keys people get? IE me who gets the 1 square key that folds away with buttons and 1 normal key no buttons. Without having to write all that!

VTS owners get 2 plip type keys.

Why aftermarket is the way. £175 quid chuck in new headunit route microphone somewhere job done. Mainly saying that cause of the price reduction as well. Just dont get the steering controls...yet.

French site is a better one to check the british site only just came online a few days ago its bloody hopeless. The french site lists everything. Theres a selection of blaupunkt headunits available though. But getting wires behind the dash is not difficult i could do it for you with headunit and aerial for less than £400.

DAB aerial should not be too difficult looks like the head liner comes away fairly easily. Think Mike has had his off already. But citroen do have DAB headunits on the accessories site... i think.

The Z06 is anything but rubbish! Id have on in an instant...then again im an American car fan. Id love an older Corvette stingray or a camaro etc 60's one. But the new vette is a very very capable car. M6 Is also a very good car but the price and the looks put me off looks nice from the back but the front end looks awful! I have had better looking shits.

Known about this for a while. Next model C4 VTS is apparently going to have the same 1.6 Turbo lump putting out around 170 - 200bhp. Idea is gives better fuel economy and better performance due to the lighter car.

They can tune the sound how you want it mate. And theres loads of tailpipes to choose from around 20+ last time i looked. Just checked theres more lol. 150 silencers 40+ tailpipes. Sure they can find one you would like lol.

Theres an excuse to buy a corvette for the HUD display!

Not sure if im the only one who does this but everycar i get in now doesnt matter which is it the interior usually looks so dated in comparison to the C4's. Plus your never gonna get the reaction of "it looks like something out of startrek" in another car like i have with the C4.

Just go get a custom one made ham from powerflow or someone. They can do them fairly cheap few hundred will get you a full system it wont be designed for maximum performance but if you want something thats going to give great gains it'll usually cost. Cant believe the price they charge for some of the extras though. £140 or whatever it is for the aluminium dash kit is ridiculous. And notice how everythign needs to be dealer fitted as well lol. Suppose i shouldnt tell them i fitted my own spoiler but they have repaired it once under warranty :P

Nope never had an issue with anything like that. Could it be something else at fault i mean if they replaced it a couple times possibly somehting else thats causing it.

They actually make more sense the wing type doors as well less room needed to open them etc. Where as if your in a small space in the coupe due to the doors being so long it can be murder if someone parks too close to get in the car. And that is just such a good looking car just a shame they wont make something like that. But i doubt the market would take to a french sports car like that too well. But if it had some more oomph under it id have one.

Yeah remember when i was having a listen and you said only way to get rid was holding on to the door pods. Mine isnt quite that bad but i dont have that much bass going through my doors. Will have to see though it rattles occasionally with very low frequencies. Got a couple bits that need doign to the car anyway so may ask them next time its in the dealers to see about this.

Got to say i like it more on the white car. It just does not look nice in the picture on the silver.
