Yep only a small turbo which is why they spool up so quickly but as said nearly every new diesel has a turbo. Otherwise your 1.6 diesel would be struggling to keep up with 1 litre cars.

Not sure where to get the owners manual in a pdf without me scanning it in and to be honest im too lazy and theres too many pages lol. Im sure if you have any questions though or want to know anything we can tell you how to go about doing it.

You have 6 gears Make use of them if you want engine braking use lower gears than you normally would. 2nd or 3rd would be good due to the higher gearing etc. under 1000rpm is about right most newer cars idle higher now but will settle down after a bit due to emissions the higher revs at the start actually help lower emissions. Temp guage on mine takes about 10 minutes on the 1.6 and sits at 3 bars.

If there professionals it wont matter what systems the C4 has if they want it they will ahve it just stick it on a loader or something it only takes a couple minutes to drag it on to one. Windows can still be smashed through then just a case of getting in and snapping the steering lock on the wheel which doesnt take much effort. and have it pulled up on a loader. But as i said now they just dont care they will just come into your house and steal the keys. And chances are someone pulls a gun or similar on you your not gonna risk getting shot. Unlike the movies its rather easy to die from a single gun shot to the body.

Not to scare you or anything but if they really want the VTS they will come in the house for the keys. heard a few things where people have been threatened even to the point of guns being pulled to get the keys from them. They will just come through the front door or the backdoor. Happened to a few Civic Type R owners and a Couple Clio182 owners. Was a few people that posted on various car forums warning of this after it happened to them. So best bet contact the police and tell them its been happening they may step up patrols round your area for a bit.

I look at my car occasionally on the drive etc. But I also love the side profile view. And when I got the rub strips done I looked at it a little more as it just looked so much better. But no I dont park it places for people to see etc. It just gets abandoned usually or I use a disabled space near the front of supermarkets. As I usually have my mum with me whos in a wheelchair. Also a good way to stop car park dings lol. At the moment though the cars looking a bit neglected its covered in tree sap and leaves and other bits and pieces.

You mean theres a slight gap? If so thats normal mate it wont be perfect. Can try pushing the rubber down a bit though see if it helps. Always think its a bit wierd you can get a VTS spec'd car out there but in a 1.6. And not all our VTS's have spoilers here the diesel one does not have a spoiler here.

You would really think people would be rewarded with there loyalty but nope. I think its cause a lot of people dont check other companies when its due again. And just basically cant be bothered and dont realise they could get it cheaper.

leave it... i'm broke now that I am paying insurance again...after Christmas though they will be oh yes they will be mine! lol. And Mike the C4 is built a fair bit better than the other citroen cars so not really fair to judge against the others get into a C2 or C3 etc and you will see a big different in build quality and feel of materials. and long trips i remember the day i got mine i went to the petrol station filled it up and buggered off the scotland for the weekend came back and booked it in for the first 1000 miles service.

Yeah just he has the 17's on his stuey :-P But looking at that should not be too difficult to repair it mate probably similar or a bit less than what I paid to have mine done. So around £280 - £300 I just took mine as an excuse to get sidestrips and pillars done as well lol. I was putting it off until that point.

I didnt go through my insurance worked out costing me more. Losing my NCB and also £175 excess. Was worth the £350 out of my pocket 2yrs ncb is worth far more than £175. Cant see in that scratch but part of the door seal was bent as well its perfect now they sorted it out in the price as well as the scratch etc.

Further proving insurance is a joke. It should have a fixed price for postcode, age range car group mileage. and cost rather than the random quotes people seem to get now. If one company can give me insurance for £1200 how the hell can the other justify £5000?

Sma ewith insurance however going on my mobile phone couldnt leave O2 now been with them 5 years and my contract gets massive reductions a month plus free upgrades and occasionally just credit £100 to my account for having it so long etc. Not giving up that!

It is a hatchback though. The boot is a hatch it has 3 doors. Coupe just means "to Cut" Why its impossibly to have a 4 door coupe even though Mercedes would have us belief different.

Once your over 25 though insurance drops so much. Under that though on anything above a group 10 with low ncb you just have to bend over and take it. Mate of mine is paying £1600 on a 1.2 8v punto with 55hp. Thats the lowest he could get as well.

Bloody hell i just got myself an insurance quote on a VTS for my 2yeras NCB and living back with my parents :lol: I can afford one now. For me living in manchester on driveway etc....£1256 Thats not bad for my age and only 2yrs ncb and living in Manchester postcode. Its not much more than my insurance would be on the 1.6. Just a couple months ago I had the quote saved on my confused.com thing and lowest i had was £3148. Just dont it again adding another yr NCB and i got that quote of £1200. Might have to look into a VTS in 12 months or so now. well less.

Didnt sleep at all last night due to this f**king tooth ache. which is now starting to settle down so guess the antibiotics are working. Today im rebuilding my main PC putting it into a new case with new PSU and adding some more hard drives due to running out of space 1tb and I still run out of room. I only put a 300gb drive in 3 weeks ago and theres 6gb left on it now. Also have to setup a wireless network which should be fairly easy just messing about. And im way to frigging tired to do any of it. Then if im still awake after all that and the heavens have not opened up again i may consider washing the car. Or going and joining the gym as i keep saying i will as i could seriously do with the workout lol need to get rid of a lot of this weight and im doing nothing sat at home. Also need to write out a CV. Oh fun day to be had.
