thats only good if your driving a boosted motor really and are on trackdays as the only time you will get somethign out of it even then its bloody ridiculously priced. And unless the cars mapped for it wont see any benefit.

They got rid of our pattern now only get 1 choice on the VTR+ now adn thats black / grey 3d cloth not the blue and orange we also got to pick between. Just got rid of some of the choices probably just to make it cheaper to produce but i love the look of the orange ones.

Your MPG not gone up as well? Few people notice better MPG so the extra it costs then balances out.

My dads last car had leather after he got it the words never again came into mind the number of times i got in to drive it during summer and the bloody thing was red hot. then in the winter its frigging freezing no thanks will take cloth myself. Even though leather is nice its just when its hot its awful and when its cold its awful as well. And porkie mate get rid of the damn 1 series i dont care how reliable it is you know you want a C4 HDI. :D

i get it as well if it refuses to go in just pull foot up from the clutch and put into nuetral and try again sometimes though it'll grind and theres nothing you can do happened a few times in mine. Also get a slight click going into 3rd when I change to quickly if the revs are up around the 5500ish mark. I asked the dealer about the crunchy reverse as well just said theres no syncro for reverse thats what causes it.

Just yank it out basically it comes out done it to mine a few times trying to get things from the back of it.

Never been caught by one myself but have got people caught by them. Some idiot was right up my arse basically driving like an idiot cutting me up etc so at a traffic light i gave it some stick up to around 40ish then let off as i know right round the bend is a camera i got to watch the guy go through it at what i would reckon is nearly 60mph. He didnt look too pleased when i pulled up next to him at the next traffic light. But serves him right had he not been driving like an idiot he would not have upset me he would not have been speeding and he also would have got just as far not doing silly speeds down the road as i pulled up to him at every light sticking to the limits. The cameras are just annoying though some of them such as ones put on corners and down hills are just not needed. Sometimes you cant help going a little too fast thorugh certain areas which is why some of those cameras are just there ot make money. I would not mind if they were there for safety but some are obviously just there for money making.

Next year sometime apparently along with the new 1.6 turbo petrol engines which were developt with BMW. As well as the new auto box for the C4. when they launch the new picasso based on the C4 as well. And in 2008 we are supposed to be getting the C4 CC.

The 307 and C4 share the same chassis but the electrics and internals and a few other bits and pieces are different why the C4 generally handles better and has a stiffer ride over the 307 as well. Quite a bit was changed between them even though they are basically the same car underneith. Will have ot see what the facelifted C4 is like though.

Mine does now as well since citroens own bodyshop got to the thing. grr! can tell they did it as well as they have put some rubber like stuff into it to hold it on doesnt work though. You just need to twist the bit upwars.

The spare isnt exactly a space saver its just smaller than your alloys in width slightly. And i know they are a bit hopeless at getting spec's right. And half the time the dealers are usless but well once you find a decent dealer its not soo bad. Just never trust a salesman afterall he is trying to get you to buy a car he will say things to help it sell.

And dont pay someone to fit it do it yourself its incredibly easy take you around 30 minutes literally 2 torx screws and 5 nuts and bending a few bits of plastic so the clips come out. Think the hardest bit was getting my boot struts off as one of the clips was a right little sod to get off.

Thats on the standard spec I paid for the navidrive system. Perhaps if the salesmen had better product knowledge these problems would not arise. I challenge anyone to find specific details on the c4 navidrive system, what it does, how you program the satnav and what equipment it comes with. There is video connecters in the glove box, I have plugged a digital camera and video camera in but it cuts out when the car is moving. Has to cut out its illegal for it to display things which the driver could watch etc whilst the vehicle is in motion. And on the 6 cd stacker thing if you read through it a bit it seems to be that the C8 C5 and C3 get a slightly different system so they do probably get the 6cd stacker unlike the C4 which gets the armwrest mounted one rather than the one that tucks into the dash or under seats in boot etc. But you do still have a 6 cd system just a shame you dont get MP3 compatibility on the navidrive system.

And if your not sensible get yourself a cheap sportscar :o

Had it in the correct gear at time right? Cruise will only come on in 4th and 5th but as you said you were on a long drive i expect you were in one of those gears. Did numbers appear on the system? If you want to turn the cruise on and have it start at the speed your currently doing instead of just turning it on set the scroller to reg as normal then tap the + speed key it will then turn the cruise control on and be set to the speed you are currently doing. It will flash if your going too slow, in wrong gear or at a different speed than what is set. Theres also the known problem with the cruise control sometimes putting up the serv light turning car off and on usually fixes it. Theres also a possibly fault with the clutch sensor that has been a recent one from somebody stopping the cruise from engaging.

French cars dont have a good reputation but in 3 years of owning my clio i passed more bmw's on the hard shoulder than anything else. And mine didnt break down once. Its like any car dont take care of them and it will break down. Take care of it should never really have any problems obviously parts do die occasionally but thats not something you can help. But so far in 8 months been alright bit early to tell though to be honest. But anyways would be nothing different to my other cars a pug 405 and a cinquecento. the cinquecento is a pain in the arse any niggly thing that can go wrong with it does go wrong. But its amazingly good fun.

When you use the A/C in the C4 to clear the windscreen doesnt take too long i usually just crank the fan up to max and put the recirculation thing on takes a couple seconds then quicker than pressing the windscreen button i found anyway. But not gonna compare to the focus since it had a heated front screen. But once i noticed the elements in the screen it bugged me lol. Love the gearchange in the focus though much nicer. And it does drive better but looks wise the C4 wins and also wins on price and equipment. There both good cars ones better in 1 way others better in another.

Hmm strange the parking sensors didnt work. Might need to go to citroen dealer and get them to disable the stock unit so car isnt looking for it etc like KFK said might cure it and maybe use the official citroen cable that they have for putting in new units.

Bit of a shame really :/ Wonder if other companies will have problems as well as its not really a true remap if you have to send the cars ecu to someone a remap shoudl be designed for that car solely since every engine is slightly different so responds differently to tuning.

Go after market can play mp3's plus get a nicer sound as well.

If the player is MP3 compatible just a case of chucking the mp3 files on a data cd. If the player is not compatible it just wont work. Then you can either choose to leave the original cd player or upgrade it or there might be a cable similar to the C4 you just plug in and you can then use your portable mp3 player through the standard headunit.

Thats one thing I plan to treat myself to when I have some extra money a nice digital SLR camera. As I really want a nice camera since mine is bloody awful plus decent hobby as well. But before anything else gets bought I need to clear off my uni debts.

shouldnt really make any difference and turning it off now you might notice you can get off the line quicker anyway. Try it. esp is only supposed to work when your losing traction on 1 wheel round a bend etc. With the remap you could get around a 35bhp increase and a nice increase with torque on the 1.6 diesel. so should be able to have similar power to the 2.0 petrols.
