Apparently the wierd squeak i was hearing was from the exhaust one of the tech apparently had the same thing happen on his C4. So they said they did a little modification to sort it now though instead of a squeak i get a metallic grating sound so when my new brake calipers arrive ill get them to have another look at it.

4 days of driving in city centre manchester and then the trip down to rugby and back im averaging 31.2mpg at an average speed of 24mph.

Mines clear in the day and same amber colour as everything else is at night.

Not loyal to any brand as such if I like the look of a car and im after a car I will take a test drive ad see how it drives if I like it then I will buy it. I tried an astra sports hatch before the C4 was gonna get an SRI 1.8 but it was not worth the extra cost over the C4 plus I thought the Coupe was a little more unusual which is why I choose it. But my next car im going American but because I want a V8 lol. Plus they dont get as bad a MPG as I thought they did and there cheap to buy / insure seems like a good way to get a quick car that doesnt cost thousands to keep it on the road.

Silver visions just replace the orange idicator lights with silver ones so it doesnt look like an egg yolk in your indicators but they still shine up orange when they come on. And no idea how much replacements ones are.

Dont know of replacement ones...yet. But why not just get some tinting spray? Think if i do anything to my car next will be silvervisions all round get rid of the orange lights.

I went to ask about a stilo abarth at first this was before i also got my apartment and when i asked for some help and information i got told to stop taking the piss that the abarth was too powerful for me yadda yadda yadda. My mum who was sat down over in the waiting area at the time came over and gave the gy a bit of a mouthful they didnt think i was being serious about the car at the time but i was. They lost a sale for that reason. Friend of mine got a civic type R though and he said the Honda dealers were absolutely amazing he didnt give them the locking nuts with the car or something and he was at work so they sent someone to his home to get them also came and picked up the car from his work and dropped curtesy car off etc. This was just while the car was getting a service. I mean honestly citroen would not do that!

See im the other way round i didnt get fobbed off with excuses from Renault (Rubbish) when i had a problem the guys in the citroen service area like to give me excuses about everything. My cars due in tomorrow I asked for a curtesy car and I said i would wait till one is available for the work to be done they actually completely refused to give me one whenever because apparently it shouldnt take long to replace the rear brakes and do the airbag recall.

See not once have i picked my car up from citroen and its been washed. Last time it came back absolutely full of dust from the shop.

Agreed. I only push my car so much I can feel im getting on the limits of the car though when I have driven it a little too hard. But yup had a few ABS type moments couple times in the C4 due to people cutting in front of me while im next to them they just check there mirrors and see nothing there but forget to check there blindspot and as a result you get people turning into you etc. Just lack of judgment. And people usually having terrible lane discipline like at round abouts people always go into the right hand lane to go straight on etc. The right lane is for turning right left is for left and straight on its not a hard thing to remember.

There good for every day driving but i like to throw my car around a bit and if i couldnt turn it off would do my head in. I know with that i wouldnt be able to get the back end twitching as much etc which is how i like it when im giving the car some abuse. In most conditions though i have to admit they do offer improved safety but if people drove better to begin with its less likely they would get into the kind of incident where these things are needed. ESP is really only there to stop you from spinning out etc by applying power to 1 wheel and cutting it to others etc. Good throttle control and good car control and knowing your own abilities will stop that anyways in my opinion. And you agree with most of what else i say normally you must be a little mental me thinks no one would find what i say right unless there mad!

Got money knocked off it so not as much as they shoulda been either way there was no where else I could get the headunit for less than £280 and its Alpine flagship unit so not really complaining about that bit. I dont think thats a lot of money to pay for one of the best units on the market and £20 to fit it. On good terms with the owners etc managed to get most of my stuff from them at a discount my new front speakers were 1/2 the price they were on the shelf for. Only thing i had to pay full price for was my bass amp but i also had to wait it on arriving from the states.

it took my local audio place ovr an hour to make sure my headunit was gonna go in without causing any errors with the mutliplex system they wouldnt sell the headunit to me unless they knew it would work so they fitted it which took them around an hour to get it sorted properly. And left the car in the workshop running for an hour with the stereo going to make sure and they charged me £20 which included my 12 months warranty with them to do that i dont think that was a lot of money. And i was fine with paying that but for citroen to do it at there stupid prices sod that.

probably ridiculous prices. Have a look on ebay see if there are any bumpers going i saw a VTR front bumper going for £35 the other day including the lower splitter bodyshop could probably spray it up for £60 or so and fitting shouldnt be too difficult. Although after just having a look the only one i could see was £60 and was missing the lower part.

It's cause of the low down torque. But meh not bothered about that kind of thing id still want it turned of as well as the traction control if i had them dont like that kind of thing prefer my foot over the computer as well sometimes they have a habit of causing problems as well.

Shoulda got a VTR :-P Most of the stuff you get on the VTS is already there apart from a few cosmetic things and the lights. Most of the main stuff is there though. Although did notice the VTS was slightly lower than the VTR the other day when i was parked next to dave&trace vts and a few other subtle differences. Another thing you might not have noticed you dont have is the lower front splitter.

You cant exactly plug it in wrong though can you? And ipods go for the better part of £300. Its a car radio your plugging basically a 3.5mm jack into a port on the rear of the stereo it cant really go wrong. As its isolated from the rest of the wiring.

My seats always go back exactly as they were left never had them go back differently.

Good stuff the tech wax. If you use it after the other stages though of the megs stuff lie the polish etc it gives even better results.

Just dont get them to fit it. wire coathanger push into holes at side of radio pull radio out put wire in its a 30 second job.

Yep mines got it not sure what it is exactly its going to the dealers on friday to fix it. Although mine might possibly be a bit different as i get it touching the accelerator and you can hear it outside too.

Mat is this when your outside closing the door or inside? As there was an early issue with the door handle getting stuck open. Citroen had a fix for that a long time ago though.

Suppose if its a real concern you could get some aftermarket pedals and stick them on since they usually come with rubbers designed for them. Or stick something to it thats got some texture and about the right size.
