  1. No probs mate.
  2. Press the IMG tag when you make a post and copy and paste the image location on the web into it.
  3. Im a multispoke fan so things like the OZ super tourismo, ultra leggeras etc are the kind of rims i like. Wouldnt mind seeing what a set of the leggeras would look like on the car. http://www.turnermotorsport.com/image/wheels/wheels_oz_ultra_lg.jpg And i got my spoiler back looks really good guys did a good job of it although could do with some minor adjustment i think but you cant really tell theres a small gap betwenn the glass and spoiler unless the boots open and your really looking for it.
  4. I might be up for that will see how money situation is.
  5. Haha, Well what we like to see nice modded C4's lol. Just a shame I cant do anything to mine now really :( Mainly due to lack of cash and my insurance wouldnt be too happy. Will see though in future. Although I think a white rim would look better on mine not sure though bit too in your face for my liking.
  6. Oh come on any excuse to use powertools! Thats my reason for building my sub box lol.
  7. Think anthracite with a polished lip is where its at myself. Not a fan of black rims but prefer dark rims. Something like the oz super t's in anthractie with the lip polished up might look pretty sweet. And the engine bit you could always drop something bigger in there if you got it heavily modded otherwise just cheaper to buy something else. I know a few clio people did it though but £1,500 it was including the work to drop a 182 lump and running gear into a normal clio thats suspension and everything that was included.
  8. Theres an intercooler on the front if you look a little more carefully sat behind the grill. Other than that the actual size difference from the standard engine wont be much more couple more pipes new manifold and thats about it.
  9. The clay comes with a spray on detailer so add some lubrication so it wont scratch your car plus its just like a big blob of whitetack really. Only thing is if you drop a clay bar you have to get rid of it. And the polisher depends on the swirls most of our cars will have very minor ones so you wont need anything too abrassive on there.
  10. No you lie! Im gonna have to go with wicked red. Of course im not biased. Then again I wasnt gonna buy a red one at first when i went into finalize my details I saw a red one right next to the guys desk and had to change the colour i originally was getting a black one.
  11. Thats what mines like have the 1.6 as well.
  12. Dont get it like that just a bit of vibration from the engine through the car occasionally thats all.
  13. I know I shouldnt car gets washed every week 2 weeks at the most as well. Why I keep noticing little imperfections keeps annoying me lol.
  14. Not actual factory thing. Mate of mine got Regal to remap his VXR and its under warranty.
  15. Will ask them to look at it when i take it in next friday see what they say.
  16. No probs mate better to be part of a forum thats specifically for your car anyways.
  17. Welcome to the forum mate, Forums not that new but not that many xsara folk on here. However there is the xsara sports club you may find more of a help to you. Few of us are still signed up there as well. Im going to the FCS with them in my C4. http://www.xsarasportsclub.com/forum/index.php
  18. .... I didnt have anyhting done to mine to say it hasnt got the standard radio fitted. I just wired up the new one didnt get the part via citroen either. Just worked though nothing else stopped working.
  19. Most other companies arent botheed by remaps infact some offer them inhouse. Citroen may be one that does not but most manufacturers now really arent too fussed by them and as i said offer them as optional upgrades. You can buy an Astra VXR now and have a new performance exhuast and a remap added as an option. You can get the thing stage 1 tuned to over 300bhp and its still completely under warranty everything covered. Volkswagon are fine with there cars being mapped and so are Fiat. Theres a few other manufacturers that offer tuning or dont let it affect warranty since a standard map on a car is usually to cope with many different things in different countries. Changing it for our fuel and the kind of climate we have here increases power but technically should not affect the warranty its only altering air fuel mix. Not replacing any other parts. And a few of the companies that do remaps state that it does not affect warranty and offer to cover any costs incured if problems do arise and these are trusted companies.
  20. Little more you can get a proper remap done around £80 more which does not affect warranty, and often gives you better MPG. but its a performance modification you do have to tell your insurance company with the remap its a little easier to hide unless they are specifically looking for it. A plug in box is a physcial thing a remap is just changing the standard engine management software. Does the same thing but a remap is usually better. But i know a few people that swear by these tuning boxes. You can usually expect better MPG, more power, Insurance will go up a little though.
  21. Dont think he needs any convincing, Looks like he bought one and he signed up over here. All i can say is good choice on the car. And were a lovely bunch over here. :D
  22. Nice introduction mate lol. Was actually looking at the bubbling its not much just started really not sure if its worth asking them to sort it just yet or waiting to see if it does get any worse as theres only a few very small sections where its started to do it.
  23. Not got a small hole in the exhaust or a seal thats not quite right or something have you? Get it into another dealer for them to check it over. And if they keep saying its normal see if you can take another one for a spin to compare.

    Car Damage

Depends who you go to to how much it costs. went to other garages with my spoiler said they wouldnt do it or it'd be £150 to repair and respray. Went to one of these family owned backstreet type ones £60 to repair it repsray it.
  25. Had mine up to 120 with room to go but decided that was fast enough and slowed it down again. Was 4am on my way back from scotland and my passengers were asleep. THe only problem with that centre mounted speedo they can all see it lol.
