  1. I find Citroen UK very variable - some of them are quite rude as you say, whereas one or two are quite helpful. Any issues I have now I address them in writing - it seems to get a bit more serious attention.
  2. I consult for Seat and couldn't help having a snoop at their new FR - powerful car, but a bit dull inside methinks and you're right plastics are quite cheap etc
  3. Mine used to drive me mad - but once I had the panels sorted I can honestly say it's a pleasure to listen to!! Those settings are there if you just scroll through the audio settings screen by screen......not sure if they are on the RD4 possibly only on the RT3 - don't know for sure though. For about only the 2nd time ever I actually disagree with Wozza - I have always preferred a bit more sound from the rear of the car; and I know loads of people do the same!! I mean it's down to personal preference of course, and Wozza is the King of Sound after all!
  4. Yeah bluetooth and navidrive are incompatible; however as Wozza said no reason to have bluetooth if you have the RT3 NaviDrive - you pop a sim card into that instead.
  5. I've driven a car with the EGS - it's a fun drive; but not sure I'd want it for a sporty style drive out though!
  6. I have always had my speakers set to a slightly louder setting in the back than the front, but hey! My JBL settings are:- Rear Volume + 2 Sub on Max Bass +5 or +6 depends on the song; on some cds it goes to +9 Treble on +2 Noise filtering and amp boost are set to on. As for phase etc you only get that with the big foook off head units (looks at wozza) :)
  7. Pretty Accurate Pooping!
  8. Weird - with the NaviDrive RT3 you get full bass controls etc - when you crank that up you can feel the bass through the ground just standing next to the car - very pleased with my sound quality!
  9. Not a great picture - I'll try and get you a better set tomorrow!!
  10. Yeah count me in :(
  11. Aaah Walsall....might see you around then! :(
  12. Here's a direct link to the configurator for the proclip:- Clicky As for overheating - I did wonder about this, but my mate's Axim X51V seems to have no problem in his BMW; to be sure I'd close the vent off whilst my PDA was mounted though, I think!
  13. In my experience, by far the best are the Brodit clamps. They are all tested on cars specifically, have good build quality and look the part - as an added bonus they rarely if ever require any drilling since they are are so specific to the vehicle they fit snugly - problem is, they come with a heck of a premium price tag, so it probably won't be much use to you since you're after a budget one, but it might help someone! Unfortunately you didn't say which Axim you have, so I can't send you a direct link, but the Brodits come in two parts - a proclip mounting platform (car specific), and then the holder for the proclip (pda or phone specific). For example, for the C4 they do a proclip for the vents, dashboard by the radio and centre vents. The price tag for all of it, including delivery, will be around £55 - and the best place I've found is GPS For Less (Clicky). I forgot to mention they do a choice of powered or non-powered holders as well, depending on which you prefer. I'll stop sounding like a brodit sales rep and go and collect my commission :D hehe
  14. Hi there! As Mike said, the intermittent dropout of cruise is most likely a dodge clutch sensor - get them to check the warning logs, it should show up there for them.
  15. Aaah has to be said I totally understand Dave & Trace's problem. I am really lucky as I've said before in that I've found a cracking dealer by me. Funny thing is, my Mother has a Vauxhall, and all the 3 dealers by her are terrible - treat you as badly as most Citroen dealerships. My line would be if you have found a car you want, and a dealer who treats you properly, buy buy buy! Have to be honest, I love my C4 to bits but that's more because it is a boy's toy car with lots of gadgets, and I'm not going to (nor could I afford to with the depreciation!!) sell it before the 3 year mark, but when it gets to 3 years, I'm going to think long and hard before I purchase a Citroen again - in fact I think it's unlikely, but when all's said and done I've had the Citroen experience, eh!! [rant over] Make sure you upload pics of your new Astra, when its here!! Cracking car, had it as a courtesy car a few months back.
  16. PMSL!!! Hitty the bat!! I'll have to remember that one!
  17. So sorry Stuey mate, at least you are alright, that is the main thing. You never know, as unlikely as it is, the little scrote might have a conscience and decide to report it after he's sat down and thought about it. Anyway as I said, you are ok which as I'm sure everyone here agrees is what is important. It shouldn't be a write off, according to the valuation I've just done of your car it's still marketable at £7,000, and there's no way that damage is going to equate to that, so personally even in the unlikely circumstance that they do want to write it off I would present them with a valuation to show them it's worth more than that. I know it's not much consolation, but maybe the courtest car you get will be a fun experience?!? hehe, try and have a Merry Christmas anyway mate!
  18. Cool, I want one!
  19. I've got a spoiler on it!! But I'll sellotape a paper cup to the top a bit like the chavs do with the imprezas round here, deal??
  20. Think so mate, the panel is certainly the same and I heard a rhumour it was different screws and some foam.....
  21. Aaah yes me too, sometimes when going along the motorway as well which is a bit disconcerting! But no, thank you, I already thought of that one and tried it none the less. Its odd, I would imagine it is the control unit since not one of either the front or the rear sensors work.
  22. As topic reads!! This error has been coming up together with the "Service" lamp - Parking Assistance System Faulty Unfortunately, I have been unable to shift it, so its booked in at the dealer!!
  23. I'll sellotape 'em up and flog you the car
  24. That's a complete load of crap mate, there is an official registered Citroen fault detail with a fix that does work. I've got to go to the garage later this week I'll get you the fault number.
  25. lol nah get it right....Wozza wants me to have it tuned, Stuey's just jealous of my car
