Yep, spot on. If your dealer doesn't know what you're on about, let me know and I'll get you the issue number.

Man after my own heart!

Weird isn't it. This was part of the reason I went for built in sat-nav as well, I mean the satellites are found to a point it can pinpoint location within 5 seconds, and its got a solid lock within about 20.
-
Citroen Accessories list a manual and automatic standard sunroof as an aftermarket, but I think like the others say its unlikely you will get a full glass roof; I would imagine there is some chassis work to be done on that to give it full structural strength back.
-
That's what I thought, but couldn't get it to work, waited over 10 mins. Got out of the car, and GPS was locked on within seconds....bizarre really.

I couldn't get a signal on my InfoRad, nor can I get any signal on the TomTom whatsoever, and I spent many an hour trying. Waiting for Stuey the ever diggy dig dig dig to ask why I was doing this when I have SatNav built in and am I stupid. No, but it was a test Toad wanted me to do before they replaced the InfoRad under warranty (seperate issue). The only kind of signal I've ever got to work is the M6 Toll Tag, which does work in the designated panel part of the windscreen.

Poor you, Moggy, how gutting for you!!
-
Cool!! Where did you order the headrests from??

The C6 is a simple beautiful car, great to drive and great to be in. Looks elegant, ride is like you're on air and equipment is pretty impressive. Problem for my is its a bit too big, and the reason I would never buy it is its likely to go down on record for the biggest depreciation ever seen in a car, certainly here in the UK.

Aaah - you as well. I had this, couldn't understand it. Went to ATS several times, asking if my balance was wrong, tracking blah blah, they said it was all fine, and that the cause was that I do mainly motorway driving, and because of the style of tyre it wore down into a slight groove which gives the vibration back through the steering wheel. I smelt bullsh1t at this point, as usual. So I went to Citroen - same answer, almost word for word. Then I asked a friend of mine, who works at the tyre factory round the corner, and he said that definitely that was the case, and that really there was nothing you could do about it. Its frustrating really, since like me you do a lot of motorway driving and you want to sit back, relax and enjoy the drive, when all you end up doing is having to grip the wheel to hold it straight!!

mmmm yes new leather seat smell... Incidentally, I notice there are some new fragrances on the Citroen Accessories site..

Problem is as well, the Magneti Marelli RT3 unit ("NaviDrive") is end of life, so probably not much point in spending the money purchasing it now really!
-
Oh, nothing I'd have thought, but you do know the rear brake light spells TWAAAAAAAAAT don't you? (just kidding) Must be thinking of wozza's horn again

PMSL had one of these once at a client's - I tell you what, I never knew there were so many identical bus numbers running the same length journey in different counties! Fascinating!
-
Clarification - I've asked a traffic cop mate of mine and as I thought, it is illegal to have your car moving on a public road with sidelights on. Whilst parked or stationary, sidelights are acceptable, but upon movement dipped beam or main beam whichever is appropriate should be used!

Ooooooh yes!!! Sultans of Swing!! One of my top ten tracks of all time!! The roller cycles radio stations in radio mode, and moves up/down the CD changer in CD mode. Perhaps if you don't have the CD changer it moves the CD tracks up and down the list? I don't know never seen it without the changer.......
-
Yer over a hundred quid each, and not sure you could convince them that that was a fault - bet your dealer will see it as mis-use!
-
Because driving with side lights on is actually a criminal offence. Yeah I'd love a back button, I mean, I've ended up having to use the voice commands all the time just to roll back a track when Money for Nothing by Dire Straits comes on!!
-
Glad you're ok mate - remember once I drove under the M6 bridge before the Stoke turn off, and shortly behind a brick was lobbed off said bridge by some twaaaaaaaaaaaaats (see Wozza's horn) and killed the people in the car it hit, I was gutted. I just can't contemplate some people thinking "oh I know, we'll go and lob some bricks off a motorway bridge" - well let's face it, there's only one word for them - murderers.

Oh dear, unfortunate that this user has seen fit to resort to abuse, degradation and stating lies believing them to be true. As the rest of the forum will agree, I am sure, Wozza is not: but is indeed a veritable encyclopedia on all things motor related, not just C4, and has been the backbone of this forum for a very long time. The C4 is one of the best handling cars I've ever driven. Granted, not the best, but by far better than most. Perhaps C4VTRhdi should get his handling checked out. We have tried to be as informative for you as possible, and we're sorry you weren't happy with your C4, and wish you luck with your new car.

My biggest want would definitely be a bigger diesel engine - 200+BHP or something similar. With Wozza on the recaro seats, although I do like the leather ones. The individual climate controls by vents (e.g. C4 picasso) would look cool. 18" wheels on top models definitely. Blue lit interior lights And one last thing - in true Citroen style - get rid of the rattles. The C4 was so much better than the build quality of earlier Citroens, but I've still had to have now nearly 10 rattles resolved - surely this can be squeeeeezed down to the odd one that every car suffers?
-
Indeed, I agree with Wozza, I've driven many many different cars, and my absolute favourite is the C4 - let's face it, I put up with Citroen for it! You should see my diesel, very fast powerful car with the chassis and build to handle it - superb.

Tell me about it, was 53 degrees when I was in Montbarla this year!
