Caterham R400 I think it is called would be good, it got the fastest time round the EVO test track. Also a M3 CSL should be high up the list too and you can drive it in the snow without your nose falling off.

I have the 1.4. Welsh was a bit harsh :D the only time I have struggled was in the same circimstance as him, 4 passengers up a steep hill with the aircon on, and it only had about 100 miles on the clock so the engine was still tight. I have driven a 307 with the 1.6 and it was pretty quick but you have to weigh up accelration Vs MPG. mine is sitting at about 42mpg at the moment.

that hotel looks ok. Or M42 services. I think where all coming the same way so the services might be easier...

the 1.4 seems to struggle but it is a heavy car. The 16 valves and the injection definately helps. It has more than enough power to get out of situations and will happily buzz along at 90...

I have never seen a Visa before so I googled it...damn that car is ugly!! should make a good sleeper car though... I have done a lambo off the lights. The guy didnt know it was a race though, when I pulled past him he floored it shot past and my windows where vibrating like mad, I caught up with him further down the road and he had a Tubi Style exhaust on it which is a straight through system so no silencing...noise of champions!!

I reckon Donnington Services would be a good place to meet or M42. The M42 services are crap though...

Your right, the C4 is not a track orientated car. It is a comfortable family car...but it is not bad by any means. Obviously an Elise or other car of that genre will leave the C4 for dead but it really wasnt that bad... Bloody hell someones doing alright for himself...new car, new bathroom, new kitchen and garage with an S?? :P

I will have to have a look for next summer... I see you go the VX home then??
