at 10K that is a bargain!! half tempted myself and then bang it on Autotrader and make a quick couple of grand...

thats always been a problem for me, getting round the car quick enough to dry it off before it leaves white spots and catch all the drips from the mirrors and back window seal. Need to get some better tyre shine aswell. I use Turtle Wax something or other but it is a squirty bottle so it doesnt cover very well. I think I will try Muc-off silica wheel gel. Its meant to stop dirt and brakes dust sticking the the alloys too. stick that pic you sent me a minute ago up, I'm sure people will want to see the VTS looking that good

I use AutoGlym Fast Glass on the windows. That makes the water bead up like RainX. I will grab some when i see it next. All of Hams car cleaning suggestions have worked...Meg's tech wax is the dogs danglies and the quik clay is very good too.

the mrs was in the car but she wasnt doing anything. She did have a tight white shirt on which does it for me...maybe it was the fact that my car hasnt broke down whilst her £30K Impreza was on the back of a recovery truck on the way back to Subabru at the time :P

I was driving home last night, it was raining and it was just getting dark. Not a nice night in general but something made me really happy. I cant pin it down and it is bugging me. Its a road I drive every day so I dont think it was that, listening to an album I have had on for a while so not that. Anyone else had one of those moments where you just couldnt help smiling whilst driving?? I had a similar experience when driving to the C4 meet a few weeks ago down some beautiful country roads but i think it was the scenery...

You said it! Our flipping taxes buys their Elizibeth Duke bling and feeds Terrence the Staffy terrance?? I have heard of Tyson and Deefer but not Terrance. I have German Shepherd called Dante who has a serious dislike of Chav's. I tought him well :P

mine is a very late '05 2 days before '55 and was a fresh build and I have had a few rattles all of which have been dealt with promptly by the dealership. Admitadly when the car is cold first thing in the morning it rattles and bangs quite a bit but as soon as its warmed up its fine. People may take the piss out of the car because it has been back to Citroen a few times for recalls but as Wozza said it is nothing out of the ordinary and as it was brand new it has 3 years warranty so bills are not an issue. It can be a ball ache to keep taking them back but it most cases the fix's are done in under an hour so can be done in a lunchtime. I am not shaken in any way over the recalls. To be perfectly honest I was half expecting them and I am considering having another C4 after this one. It still looks fresh unlike the Focus and Golf that are only a little older (and are not aswell built) are looking dated. If I see a yellow VTS in about a years time I am pretty sure I will have it. Wink wink Dave&Trace

woooaaah dude, wind your neck in a bit. There was nothing personal in any of the remarks. The topic went onto how out of date the speed limits on roads are today. 70mph on the open motorway was put in place almost 40 years ago when most cars would only just hit 70 and the brakes took about a week to slow them down not a scrath on modern cars...

I dont get the Rover drivers one to be honest...they have never done anything to offend me...
-
there was a guy in a kitted up corsa, big alloys, screens in the dash etc you know the drill decided to race me off a roundabout...needless to say I was over the second roundabout and lost sight of him. I only have the 1.4 but it is a lot quicker than it has any right to be...
-
psssh details leave me alone, I didnt do anything to you.....yet :o
-
people who dont indicate!!!! sometimes you can guess which way they are going to turn by the posistioning of the car, but that is only a guess. They may well be on the far left of the junction but that doesnt mean that they are not going to turn right...
-
because we are no good at sticking to topic :o
-
but of an update on this....never going to see production :o the technology is going into other cars but the Metisse is dead. Shame really as I am sure there would be a lot of interest in it. full story here!

you know it is a "fresh" one too, its not sat in a compound somewhere for months like the silver ones have...It will be on a boat mate, a bit slower than lorry transporting it. The Dealer will want to PDI and valet it before they deliver it.

me?? have a dig at your driving?? never :o alright then maybe a couple of the diesels are beating me...
-
Cituning had mine as a tester for the Eibach springs that they now offer. It did look nice but you will have to have bigger wheels to show the drop off properly. I drove it for about 5 mins and it didnt feel that much different really, the ride was harder and there was more banging in the potholes but as for "overall" feel of the car it was the same.
-
The turbo is obviously quicker than the standard with no changes to the car itself. The VXR is pretty much totally reworked underneath, suspension etc...
-
still loving the fact that my petrol is getting more than the diesels!! Stuey wins!!

ive just watched the 7 minute video for the first time...that launch control is awesome!! 0-60 in no time at all. The 2006 Focus WRC cant cope with a 2004 Xsara what is the C4 going to be like :o
