  2. go for the VXR turbo version if yo can find one...everyone I know who has driven it says that it is much better than the standard car.
  3. more importantly when are you or Ham going to sell me your wheels then??
  4. cituning have a lowering set for £200 and if you bring it to them they will fit them there and then. The drop is 25mm at the front and 30mm at the rear to level the car out.
  5. you get more of a deviant every time you come online :D
  6. any BMW's...nothing to do with the cars just the drivers and there lack of indicating. People who dont indicate get my blood boiling!!
  7. if the rumours are true then it will be having its first competitive run out at the Wales Rally GB. I am going but it is not til December so if it is around I will have plenty of pics of it mudded up to the windows and all!!
  8. have a look on autotrader...there are loads for sale for that price. If Wozza gets them converted to RHD and markets them for £40K he should shift em pretty quickly, obviously not as much profit but they will sell and if you get a rapport with a local garage you should be able to get the RHD conversions done quite cheaply...
  9. thats a lot of cash!! heres mine- Citroen stock system  mind blowing or what
  10. we havent got round to doing anything like that yet. We met a few weeks ago in Manchester and we discussed meeting at Alton Towers next time. Not sure if it will be before they close for the winter...
  11. thats looking mighty impressive!! You will have to come along to our next meet so we can hear it...
  12. I would definatly be interested, you are the first person who is thinking about any serious mods to the C4, most of us have looked at changing wheels and swapping stock speakers but nothing as major as what you are talking about...
  13. so if I went to the dealership to have a VTS steering wheel fitted they would get pissed off then?? *VTS steering wheel added to shopping list* :P
  14. there is something you need to know about this forum...if any topic goes even slightly sexually/body part orientated it stays that way... :P
  15. as Wozza said the best way to get around it is to stick it into reverse and go up to 5mph that should stop it. I seem to recall it remembers after a while though and starts beeping again...It is there for a reason so it wont be an easy shortcut to disable it...
  16. *insert soft saxaphone music here* we had a group of kids here having a tour around and their teaching assistant was a MILF!! teacher was a munter...
  17. I have had mine on a track and it will oversteer if you make it, lift of the power and the back will drift out, but to be honest it is nothing that you cant catch. I will have a word with the photographer who was working at the track at the time as he has some pictures of mine with the back wheel in the air top gear style and with the back end out...
  18. we are all grown ups here
  19. I did sense a bit of sarcasm on thar one
  20. there should be a button down by the headlight level'o'meter rolling switch thingy that says ESP...press this....enjoy
  21. I understand your point completly! I dont think that the CBT test be remarkable easy to pass helps any too. Unfortunately the large majority of scooter riders are as you desrbibe "yoofs" and they are destroying the reputation of the normal people who ride them following road rules that you and I do and thus raises insurance premiums and generally gets them more attention form the rozzers. My brother rides a scooter and he doesnt tit around on the highway, he would be no good at it anyway, he tried to pull a wheelie on the street and failed miserably...
  22. I think the crux of the problem is that the average age of a rider of a scooter is 16 and 17 (just before they can buy a corsa or nova to put a massive exhaust on but thats another rant for another time). I know what I used to do on my pushbike when I was 16, and it does resemble a lot of what those morons do, wheelies. Cant really nick the keys out of another bike but we all pushed a stick into our mates wheels didn't we?
  23. good to hear from ya mate, its been a while!! What extra you having done at bodyshop??
  24. Citroen really did have a bad rep for reliability...but that does seem to have gone away with the C4. most of the issues with the car have been with trim rather than engine. they must be good as the new Jaguar's have PSA engines in them. The only thing that would put me off buying another is the depreciation...buying second hand is clearly the way to go, I have the "new car syndrome" out of my system now so I think I will be able to buy a used car now :o

    The C6

thats harsh!! What made you go for a C4 anyway mate?? they are peferctly viable over here as they are quite cheap and the VTS is quite powerfull compared to most cars, but you guys have cars like the Monaro and other V8 sexyness!! The Monaro is just going out of production over here so they are boosting the engine up 6.2 litres and promising 500bhp for about £40,000 which over here is an absoloute bargain!!
