Welcome to the forum. I can not help with the sensodrive but the anti theft fault could be a problem with the immobiliser - possibly the key is not being recognised or maybe the transponder around the ignition switch is faulty or possibly something else. A diagnostic check may be needed to find the problem using a Citroen dealer type Lexia. I would not get in to replacing the ecu or anything else expensive without the proper diagnostic check since others on here have done this and still not fixed the problem.

How To Remove The Radio Aerial + What Do I Have Here?...
paul.h replied to steveharman's topic in C3 - General
The aerial on the car is not the correct one whereas the separate one looks like the correct one. It is quite possible the separate one is faulty and the previous owner suspecting a dealer supplied one may be expensive has put the aftermarket one on. If in doubt get a new one from a Citroen dealer using your VIN, they are only about £3 and cheaper than any aftermarket ones. Also there are different ones depending on the car and radio yet they all look the same. On our latest C3 it had an aftermarket one and the radio reception was poor but fitting a correct one the reception is now good. The aerial just unscrews but if tight you could try something like wd40 at the joint. I have read that BMW owners sometimes fit Citroen aerials since they are a lot cheaper than BMW ones. -
Welcome to the forum. Sounds as if you did not do the filter up tight enough or the O-ring seal had not seated properly. A smear of oil should be put on the rubber O-ring seal and the filter cap threads to help it turn without catching and a torque wrench should be used. Before putting the new filter in, if you clean out the filter body you should see how it goes back. I read somewhere that if the filter top is undone a bit, the filter spigot lifts a bit so that the body can drain down, but having tried this it did not help reduce the amount of oil spilt.

Welcome to the forum. If you give a bit more info in the C5 section, some advice may be given to help get the C5 going again.

Welcome to the forum. grantg has not been on the forum since joining back in September. You could try a message to him which he will get an email notification of so he may get back to you. Easiest way to do this is to move your mouse pointer over his name and then click on send message. On one of the C5 sections there is a pinned topic of members who are also able to help others with diagnostics.

Bluetooth Paired But No Sound Coming Out Of The Speakers.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry I can not help you but we have a few members who might be able to help when they are next on the forum. -
£20 for 100 miles is about 25 mpg using £1.10 a litre for diesel.

Welcome to the forum. The car does take some time to rise, many seconds but not into the tens of seconds. The back rises first and then the front. It will pay to take the car down and up a few times just to make sure nothing is sticking. Also check the battery voltage is not low and the suspension lds fluid level is correct (lower the car to minimum, switch off the engine, slowly undo and remove the tank cap to let out the air, the fluid level should be just covering the bottom of the filler neck strainer).

The bsi (boitier de servitude intelligent) is the cabin fuse box, usually in the glove box but has relays and programmes that run things on the car.

Welcome to the forum. Bumper removal often does not take long so if you had to pay a dealer to do the job it would be well under 1 hour in total for labour.

Welcome to the forum. There might be a relay near the fan that controls it which you could check. Also if you have a code reader that gives live data you could check the engine temperature sensor to see if it is giving correct values, about 10°C with a cold engine and about 90°C with a hot engine.

Rear Brakes, To Use Loctite Or Not
paul.h replied to aspire_helen's topic in Problems and Fixes - C5
You will probably find most C5s no longer have the loctite on the rear caliper bolts. I removed it from our 2004 C5 about 2006 and used copper grease, changed the car in 2012 for a 2007 C5 and did the same on its brakes in 2012. No problems on either of them. I still have to remove the corrosion on the back of the calipers every couple of years though but do not have to spend a day each time removing the bolt loctite. -
The coolant temps are probably ok if the engine was still warming up. In the Haynes manual it says the hpi fuel pump gives up to 100 bar and after it there is a pressure regulator and then a pressure sensor - possibly this regulator (or the sensor) is faulty since P1294 above is noted as on the EW10D engine as high fuel rail pressure. On here P1297 gives - Injector High Sides Shorted Together. I have no idea what this means but you could have a look for any wiring problems around the injectors. However, I found this in a search which came up on another Citroen forum P1297 Injector high sides shorted together SIRIUS81 (EW10D) - Fuel rail pressure. High value received.2 It seems that for your engine the fault code definitions may not be the standard ones that first come up so it could be the same thing, the fuel rail pressure is too high.

Welcome to the forum. It looks to be running a bit rich since the CO values are above the limits. You could give the car a service - new air filter, spark plugs, possibly oil/filter change, clean the throttle body and also give the car a good run so it is warmed up before the MOT. Also check for any air leaks between the air filter and engine and any on the exhaust side up to the catalyst. However, ideally you would use a code reader with live data to check the exhaust catalyst inlet and outlet lambda sensors - the inlet should be about 1.0 and constantly switching but the outlet should be a steady value. If the outlet one is switching similar to the inlet then the catalyst needs replacing.

To register on the Citroen service site, go to service.citroen.com, select your language, then top left click on Registration, then join as another professional non emergency services and as a member of the Citroen Owners Club. In the Haynes manual (use one of the links above if you do not have a copy) the blower motor removal can be found on page 3-10 and under 30 it says it is located at the top of the heating ventilation housing and is accessed by removing the glove box - but to only check its wiring you might get away with just removing the soundproofing above the passenger footwell. To get to the resistor you only need to remove the soundproofing above the driver footwell.

Have a look at the live data with your Lexia and see what temperatures it is giving for inlet air temp (AIT or IAT - should be about 10 to 30°C as the engine warms) and engine temp (should be about 10°C before starting and then slowly go up to about 95°C).

Welcome to the forum. You could look at the Citroen parts diagrams using the vehicle VIN (VIS) to find the part no. and then search against that. You can do this as a free service if you register as another professional and a member of the Citroen Owners Club on the service.citroen.com site. You may need to select your language first. Once on the parts diagrams enter the VIS top left.

It is worth a try but do not do it too quickly since time has to be allowed for the bsi to shut down or you can get odd electrical problems - there is a procedure in the C5 Technical section Common Problems pinned topic to use.
-
From your other topic your car is a 2009 c5 2ltr vtr+nav. Front wiper motor failure is a common problem on this model and is mentioned on the C5 Technical section Common Problems pinned topic. Water gets inside them and messes everything up. You may be able to repair them but replacement ones may be needed - there are 2, one for each side but are about £300 each from memory.

Welcome to the forum. This has not been mentioned here before but you could also look on the Picasso forum, there is a link to it on the home page. You will need to register separately on that forum if you wish to join it. -
