I have just received the very latest 'which? car' magazine. The Citroen C4 appears for the first time. "Troublespots 2004-2006 Handles/locks The C4 is refined, fun, and easy to drive. safety is reasonable, but Citroens long term reliability needs to improve if we're to recommend it. Score 68% " Sample rate was 34 owners. Which? claim that the Ford Focus has no troublespots.

I might be coming up for both days, but not committing myself at the moment. :o I would be staying in Manchester if I do get there. :blink:

You can sell empty fag packets and empty baked bean cans on eBay, in fact people are stupid enough to buy anything on there !! ;) :( I am sure you will find lots of tickets to the Renault (Rubbish) World series event at Donnington on there that people have got for free, and wanting to make money on them. In fact there are loads,as I have just looked. :blink: :o

I prefer diesel to petrol for a number of reasons. Here is a few.... Better torque Better economy More reliable in flooded road conditions as no coil/spark plugs to get wet. Safer, as diesel fuel has a lower flash point than petrol. Engines last longer.

Get an old wire coathanger. Cut off about 10 inches of the straight section. Cut this section in half to make two 5 inch long sections. Make a u bend on each section so that the 2 ends will fit into the holes on each side of the radio. Easy :P

£90 is outrageous :wacko: Find a dealer with a cheaper labour rate.

You can have a 9706AG Aux cable fitted to the C4 radio. This is a cable that allows any device with a 3.5mm connector to be plugged into the C4 Radio. The UK C4's are all fitted with a Blaupunkt radio, and there is currently not any adapters available to directly control an Ipod, as the changer connections are non-standard.

Got my cable done at Citroen dealer I bought the car from, for free. They have put the outlet in the central draw thingy under the vents below the central display. I have no idea how difficult it is to do that, but it looks a neat job and saved me having to rip the car apart. :P They would have charged about £65 for the whole job. :P

Maybe the Essex owners sold the car because they got bored with the CD. :D :D :P :P :D B) :D :D :D :D

Maybe you have an SX that looks like a VTR ? :o :D :o :P :huh: :D My C4 is a bit muddy looking after coming coming back from my parents house in Norfolk, as their driveway is shared with an unmade public footpath. :D

If i pushed my C4 for 100 miles on a flat surface with no fuel in the tank...I would get 100 miles for no gallons. :P

The N80 does not work with TomTom. Only the Series 60 ones listed below work. 3230, 6260, 6600, 6630, 6670, 6680, 6681, 7610, N70, N90 I use an old 6630 just for TomTom

It's a bit awkward, dangerous, and illegal to read a map and drive at the same time :P

As the fire brigade would use pneumatic cutting equipment on any seriously damaged car to release pasengers, I don't think a 3 door car is any less of a problem than a 5 door.

Welcome to the forum. I have seen the user manual sets on eBay all the time. There is another handbook here The climate hot air only issue seems to be a common fault, and the heater box takes 2 days at the Citroen dealer to replace. Make sure they get the parts in stock first.

I followed a black C4 VTR Coupé into Birmingham Business Park today which was pretty darn cool. It must have been a rare site to have 2 C4's driving together :D Wonder if it was anyones on here, as I have seen it once before? :D

Good to hear you have a new C4, Ciaran :D Personally I prefer the C4 without any spoiler, but that's probably because I am an old git, and my VTS diesel does not have one. :D :D
