  1. chisel or grind them off and buy 2 new bolts. these are a nightmare to remove on something this age.
  2. comms. same recall as the last one just diffrent name. same part as before i should have said before someone puts me straight. diffrent fault. <_< :( :D
  3. we just had first c4 picasso delivered to the garage today and have to say that its brilliant. top of the range exclusive with sat nav, dvd player with 4 screens, full leather. loads better than i expected.
  4. sounds like one of the liners has come off and wedged against the inside of the drum. you will need a puller to remove it. the drums have a couple of 30 torx grub screws to remove it (i think) so no need to remove castle nut.
  5. never checked spec sheet. just never seen a pdi come through with a hole in the dash. so they must be factory fitted???????
  6. the slot you are looking at sounds like a shunt fuse slot. just remove fuses one at a time untill you find the blown one.
  7. put car in low and check the view window on the tank (the square box) level with the top of the box is max.
  8. if you open the plip up you can retension the spring. there is a cross at the bottom of the pin that locates into the plip housing. lift it up turn it 360 degrees clockwise to tension spring and push it back into the locator. need to add its a bit of a nightmare to keep the tension and try to locate the cross at the same time so remember that bouncing it of the wall will only make matters worse.
  9. the ignition needs to be in position 1 also
  10. we had pluriel in today with similar fault. open circit fault on lexia so checked switch and wiring and all ok. live data reads -48 degrees which tecnical say is default setting so looking like ecu fault.
  11. strange. i have never come across a c3 that did not have a radio as standard.
  12. wozza's right. thats all it takes to remove bumper and it has to be done.
  13. we've changed a few under warrenty. if theres no impact marks you should not have a problem with warrenty.
  14. agree, attempted murder in my eyes. the worst thing is if you managed to catch these feckers and give them a kicking it would be you who ended up in court. my advice is always carry a ski mask and a cosh in your car for times like these.
  15. a pipe has most prob come off. xenon bulbs can melt the lens if it is dirty. thats why the washers are fitted so i would get it sorted as soon as poss.
  16. driven loads of these and found they dont have much bottom end power. you have to make them howl to get them to go. i would not red line an engine while not under any labour as things tend to slap around when free reving.
  17. the tops on the air filter housing rattle around and need a mod. sounds a bit like the exhaust is blowing.
  18. turn ignition on then off and press the wiper stalk down once. they will go into service position.
  19. if you can get a citroen harness it piggy backs the multi plug in the back of the light cluster and all you have to do is splice into a live and take another wire to earth.
  20. 3 year service at ours is £240 but were north east area and its a bit cheaper up here. small service is £140.
  21. we had one back last week with a rusty rear silencer. only fault i've ever come across with them. apart from 3 points and a £60 fine after using one of our courtesy c1's. we've had a couple back with noisy exhausts but thats the way they are.
  22. yes it can be fitted. as rich said go to dealer and they should sort you out. it will have to go on diag tool after its fitted to tell the bsi or it wont work.
  23. could be comms 2000. needs to go on diag tool and check live data to be sure.
  24. dont know about the hose but you have the old type coil fitted which causes loads of running probs. the fault that is normally stored is multiple missfires. if you look at the coil on caculos car you will see the front of his coil is filled with resin. yours is plastic. get the new coil and i would think this will sort your problem.
  25. most probs a speed sensor fault. has it had a sotware update recentley. x12 recall (inj ecu update) puts a fault on power steering and if its not erased after download it causes steering probs.
