most batteries seem to look as they cant be filled up because of a silly sticker over the caps and makes you think its a none type normal battery and looks like the new filled for life jobs when its not, check for the obvious and top it up ( low fluid level effects the cranking amps ) and that give lots of false ECU readings, air bag passenger side tend to suffer the lock barrel issue due to lack of use so some wd40 in there might help
-
its simple really when you pull that lever it lets the seat and back go forward to give more room for the rear passenger to get in so when you put the back strait the seat can be moved while you off the seat to allow you to get in I doubt you did any damage doing it that way
-
for the seat drill a new hole and fit a bolt going through the floor of the car and use a nylock bolt, heater sounds like the blender is sticking, rear door probably the plastic stop latch on the hinge worn picture would help here, boot locking hinge needs resetting, speakers well that happens mostly when over powered amps are added or with crap speakers, water bottle sounds like a stuck level sensor, airbag sounds like a loose wire under the driver seat very common, tyre pressure sensor a pain in the butt and requires either new batteries fitted in the wheels ( tyre fitter job ) and they will reset them with the diagnostic tool

that would explain it then, the side release is for letting someone in the rear seat only ( 3 door car ) it doesn't release the seat for the driver to set it up for driving position
-
yes they are because its a safety issue
-
regardless of the make they are the same thing I never had any problems with mine ;)
-
at least that's better than cylinder head removal and a lot cheaper " core plugs are very cheap " just make sure they are centered before you tap them in and ensure all the area is clean ;)
-
100% hehe that would be nice but really check for vacuum line leaks or if one has come off / idle control valve / idle stepper motor
-
you have to pry the old one out with a screwdriver then tap the new one in ( you could undo the engine mounts and jack the engine up to get at it better ) , there are other ways to install it like a small jack from the bulkhead to compress it in but room is the question
-
check all the fuses and see if the fuel inertia cut off switch needs resetting ( its under the passenger seat ), other thing to check are spark at plugs - if none it could be the coil pack
-
well all your paying for is the dealers stamp and they give things a looking at and change the oil/filter but its really giving the car a clean bill of health and makes it easier for them to get a better price for your car when you trade it in "they get the good price not you" you just pay for it with the warranty and of course if you don't do it your warranty is worthless but in most cases its worthless anyway because you could maintain your car yourself at a lot less of the cost they charge, that's the penalty for buying new
-
simple really its electronic so the ECU needs to be reset ( battery neg off then remember the radio code ) neg on and away you go
-
Haynes is a good guide "to a point" then we get the real side like how to rest the ECM when the battery has been disconnected and the drive cycle to reset the ECU good book though
-
personally I cant see it working because of how its made up you would have to change the " sealed bearings " to allow grease in there
-
actually the energy supplies the engine and any left overs keep the battery topped up ( this is an alternator ) not a dynamo
-
since they both have the same set up ish at least you found what you wanted

Set Of Glow Plugs Gone In Less Than 1000 Miles
techbod replied to hibobs's topic in Questions about the Citroen Xantia
leaking injectors/air in fuel system are very common to this problem and clouds of smoke would be normal because of unburned fuel ( did you tighten the glow plugs? ) if air got in there it would cause this problem as well -

actually that one for the c5 ;) this is yours  very minor differences but still fit the same way your looking at items 9 and 10 http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr53/techbod/7314110b.jpg
-
yes twist one way or the other to 90 degrees this will release the switch. http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr53/techbod/3141l01a.jpg look at number 5 and where it slots into you should see how they lock in
-
sounds like you found the switch and it is a twist and remove type and same to replace not expensive
-
I wonder if they changed the sensor on the engine as well  but glad its sorted ;)
