Thats the way a C4 should be styled you can still tell what car it is the original lines are pretty much all there its subtle but at the same time you can look at it and go thats rather heavily modded but it looks like it should be that way. Not just stuck on bits of plastic which try to make the car into something its not. Would love to do something like that to mine but the money involved is rather crazy so doubt that will be happening lol. Would rather just go buy a faster car instead.

Can deffinately do that in a C4. Got out of mine at the shops the other day few guys were there saying thats a nice car and asking me about it etc. Although bunch of chavs the other day thought i had a roll bar on the top of my car not a spoiler and then said it looked sweet. I had to laugh but its nice when you get people saying they like your car.

New focus is dull and ugly, The C4 is rather different i prefer the coupe myself and its just a great looking car the interior is rather radical compared to other marques which is why when i look at any other car interior now they seem dated even when there brand new. Its a nice car to drive it handles well its comfortable. And the price was good. The only good thing i can say about the focus is the gearboxes and the gearchange feel so much better where as the C4's is a lil sloppy and not at all possitive. The HDI engine probably wont get any quieter i dont think not sure though and they will get better to drive over time as they wont be so tight so you will get better consumption and better power usually. If you have a new engine dont be worried to drive it like you stole it its actually good for the car to be broken in hard. Will also get smoother to drive as you start learning all those little quirks about the car and get used to them.

Im considering seeing if i can design a kit myself in 3dstudio or maya etc see what i can come up with. Thinking wider arches with a smooth euro look round the sides and rear with some nice big multispokes slightly dished with a polished lip. I think it could go quite well. Something you can deffinately see thats been done like the wider arches etc but nothing thats takes away from the original lines of the car too much just builds on to them. But it'd take my a bloody age to do it. Have you seen the sbarro C4 though wide arch kitted and they changed the glass sunroof for it to be a convertible. Think it looks lovely myself. I edited your posts a little to get rid of some of the repeated pictures hope you dont mind just found 3 images of the same thing 1 after the other unneeded. Looks good though just hope you dont drive round with your fog lights on as nothing pisses me off more than peole who drive with there fogs on and there sidelights etc it does not look cool you look like a ***oops*** and you blind the rest of us.

Thinking about it but might get that done at a later date want to add a bit more to the stereo first some new components and some sound deadoning and also finish my boot build which i started weeks ago but was too lazy to finish.

Well been and got some quotes. Looking at £250 to sort the scratch and dent and he will do my rub strips at the same time for £50 last time he said would be £80 so £30 is better in my pocket than his. And think I will be getting them done now.

CHF = Switzerland Francs And white wheels on black cars should be avoided they look alright on red cars Though. Not as in your face. But black needs silver or anthracite. White look alright but i would not have them personally bit to loud for me. I like subtle changes.

Sent InCarTec an email yesterday gave me a timeframe within 3 months and will let me know when its ready for an adaptor that will cover all makes of headunit should cost around £40 as well so bonus! The standard system is quite good and its quite easy to go aftermarket the door skins are easy enough to get off its 4 screws basically. But the good thing is the standard speakers are 6.5inch ones so you can get some nice new ones if you want to upgrade. Installing a new radio is easy as well. And I have a 9855R unit in mine was Alpines flagship model and it does sound amazing when its up. But im wanting new components up front again so they will be getting purchased soon when i have some psare cash.

Oh it'll happen again but as your experiance grows you will just learn you dont need to SLAM the brakes on so hard. Just experiance on the road. Used to do things like that myself and basically just learn what your car and you can do and how hard you can brake before you lock the wheels up and how much pressure you need to put on to miss whats happening in front of you.

JBL gives you extra speakers plus the sub and will need a different headunit to work most problably due to the extra speakers and sub etc for it to give the right signals although knowing its a standard fit sub it probably takes its line input from the rear speakers. Also makes it more problematic in future should you wish to add an aftermarket system.

Most european MP3 players have a specific low output volume bar and yes the ipod does it as well its somethign to do with french law apparently so to comply with them they force it on everyone in europe apparently you cant have personal media devices go over a certain volume in france due to them being irritant or some other rubbish. With the ipod and creative players just flash the firmware to the american version and it fixes it.

The difference is rather small. THink changing from 15's to 18's makes your speedo vary by less than 1mph so nothing too drastic i cant be arsed to work out the maths right now but its not a big deal especially considering most speedo's are out by a bit anyway.

Exactly! 19's would fill the arches perfectly. Could probably get bigger on there but i think that would be pushing it a bit. But 19's with a 60mm drop would be SWEET! Wouldnt know about the tailgate struts im using different ones than those that came with the car anyways. Had to fit them when i fitted my spoiler they came in the kit. You get rcalls with lots of cars. I mean look at the mercedez A class that when it was first brought out was recalled due to it having problems where it would flip during emergencies if you steered too quickly. I think thats a bit worse than having your airbag reprogramed.

Went to the hospital earlier to see my mum and on the way in there was a Wicked Red VTR Coupe just a few little differences between our cars.

Get the outter rim diamond cut and polished up. and get the spokes painted in an anthracite colour and they would look the dogs danglies. Thats in my opinion anyways. Still I think multispoke type rims suit the C4 the best from the images I have seen. Such as the OZ Supertourismo wheels etc.

The C7 is going to be a 4x4 type car that is based on the mitshubishi outlander. The new picasso should still be called the picsasso and is based on the C4. I went with the aftermarket approach bought an Alpine 9855R headunit not the 9706ag way. If someone writes me a small guide with pictures etc of the 9706ag though I will sticky it up since I now have my mod privileges. And i just think many people will find it useful.

I thought they were the same throughout the range as well apart form the VTS. WHich was only down as being stiffer and sportier in most reviews but it is lower as well after comparing them side by side. You wouldnt notice if they were not side by side though.
