Flippin ek! You wouldnt honestly think I'd really do that to my car would you?! :o
-
Have you opened up the bonnet and looked up under/behind the scuttle panel by the driver side wiper? I have a sound proofing panel here where the clips have given up and causes the panel to drop and rattle on the vibration of the engine. Could be worth a look.

Not at all I love it. Somoene mentioned about taking the cheverons off and just wondered what it would look like if you "did" take them off, hence the pic. I dont have a problem with any corporate logos on the car, only those dealer stickers that are applied directly to the body work and not to the window. Completly unecessary.

http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/2676/dsc0005sw3.jpg Hmmm...not sure I like it without the chevron grill! Looks like a postbox! or even a bit Vauxhall Calibre'esq? :P :o

Yes it went streaky and left marks in a couple of places...which I have now got out. No found that with the suds, however I've started to use the AutoGlym Bumper Restorer stuff. Its green looks like you've sneezed everwhere but works and lasts longer than anything else I've used. Also once a layer has built up there is no need to keep re-applying as you just buff it again after the wash and it comes up like new.

Long as in tube? Is it black? Bulkhead gromet or something? Dont post a pic Mike as this could be quite a good quiz <_< ;) "Car Parts Charades"...only problem is you dont know the answer :(
-
Also applies if you get sloppy with the "Back to Black" on the two sensors on the black part of the bumper trim...
-
Which ones? The ones that seal the door shut or the ones around the window...?
-
I'd be careful as remapping is changing how the car came out of the factory...and may incur warranty issues It may be difficult to spot but I'm sure a trained insurance assessor with brown leather patches and tweed suit could find it, especially if you have a sticker somewhere with xxxtuning on it or something...

Thats how any beer induced night should end...not remembering what went on.... Sometimes thats a good thing

The Pug version looks like a pig with a moustache..... -
Thats the pic of the Auto Express Website or Auto Bild, one or the other and was the pic that made my mind up about getting a VTS

Writing what Wozza about the gear changes?
-
Are you near Pershore, Rich? No Filton Airfield, North Bristol... Where Concorde took its first test flight yawn yawn....
-
The local bobbies do skip pan training on the nearby airfield, when you go past you can see them doing HUGE slidey drifts...I just hope they dont take their coffee and doughnuts in the car with them as it would make a hell of a mess! Only problem is I bet you only get a few opertunities until you on your way to Citroen trying to explain why all the gears are now smooth and there are bits floating about in the gear box! "It was just like that guv"

Me neither unless its been obviously misused otherwise should be covered under the standard manufactures warranty

What was the "problem" with the tappets? An oil change may help if you only travel short journeys as the quality of the oil decreases when the car is only used in this manner. In therory no it shouldnt happen, however the tappets may need adjusting (?) or may have a dodgy seal and allowing oil to drain out when stationary and thus sound noisy on start up. There have been a number of posts on this forum from people who have experienced a noisy depollution system down by the front drivers door, you sure this isnt the problem? Welcome to the forum by the way

Perhaps they have I dont know how old that image above is. Besdies which too me it looks like they have taken a bit of a Multispace and merged it with a Cayane, almost as if the was put together by a magazine as a "this is what it could look like". -
Keeping on topic of the above discussion....prime examples of some really choice mods.... Barryboys Cars e.g. Silver Corsa Shopping Trolly

easy tiger!! there is nothing wrong with the 1.4. In the right hands I.E mine I reckon I could shake up the pecking order a bit, get you VTS owners of your high horses  back to topic...there are some nice touches...I like the stickers under the wing mirrors and badges. It should be a WRC special, with the full bodykit wheels spoiler the lot... Sorry Stuey... ;) For a start yours will probably go farther on a tank of fuel! Yeah the decals are nice just think they could have done soemthing with it a bit to make it a bit more out of the ordinary... Did they do anything like this with the Xsara?
-
Just imagine if they stuck a 1.4 in it. All show and zero go. Me I am not a fan as by now you have probably figured out!
-
Or the other style of driving are the ones that hold the left hand side of the steering wheel with their right hand, arm out straight and rest their chin on the top of their arm...desperatly trying to find a pic on the net but I think you know the pose I mean! Thank god then for height adjustable seats these days!
-
But what wheels in the PSA range would fill the extended arches, I owuldnt have thougth they'd want to introduce non standard parts.... ...harnesses....stripped out interior......alloy filler cap yada yada yada ;)
-
I think the 180's use completly different oil to the others (citation required) however I'd imagine this would only bump the price up a touch. Dont forget they always stick on a charge for "fluids" and smack a load of disposal charges on for good measure....
