Cant you turn it upside down and use it? ;)

Sod work...get your leave booked and get out on the road.

I agree. Looks a bit of a "sunday afternoon at the design office and not much to do" special addtion. The red seats just look too red (is that possible?!) and cheap. The spoiler spoils it for me I'm affraid. I think it spoils the shape of the car and almost looks less prominent and disguised within the surrounding colour.
-
C2 Looks ok... C4 No no no no no...white wheels??! ;) Good luck to who ever cleans them. Also not liking the body colour spoiler either, it just doesnt "look right". Red stiching on the gear lever gaiter - yes Red Panel on seats...no Whats the spec on the car? Is it a 1.6 with add ons?

This method is well proven to increase speed by 10% and why bother with Rain X and Anti Fog where Natures own Snot does just the same job. Mike... I have noted the shopping list and I have ordered myself those items to ensure that I gain power and torque. Do you know if they have any effect on fuel econ? Do I need to notify my insurance company - not that it matters I've not got any anyway. I thought about a single wiper conversion that only wipes one half of the screen as well...thought this would look "mint" Wozza... I like your style. The only thing that concerns me is that I dont think I am capable of putting the stickers on striaght so I'll whack them on wonkey like, and the dog eared corners poking out will increase drag. I got one of those 2foot deep sun screens on the front of Revs shall I use that as well...looks mint and means I can only see a small bit of the road....

If I was to fold my mirrors do I get a lower co-effcient?..because "that must mean I go faster....roight?!"
-
The reason I didnt race him was that I wasnt sure if he had M3 style wing mirrors. If he had, I'd imagine he'd have a much lower drag co-effcient than me and caned me for dust    All the mods you can get help when you drive a LBC Common (read - Brick) you see. Knowing my luck, if I did race him I'd boot it and PC Plod would be playing Laserquest at the end of the road and pip me for doing 70 in a 30 or something.... :o

OK not really C4 related other than something I experienced lastnight whilst out driving my C4! I'm sat at some traffic lights and some nugget in a fairly bog standard Fiesta "blinged out to Max" comes up behind me. As we pull away we then have to sit at another set of lights 30m away (yes believe me completly independent traffic lights set that close exsist in Bristol!). As we pull away 40limit again he hangs back and then floors it right up behind me to the point I can longer see his headlights. He then hangs back and pings off his lights into "Angel Eyes" mode...at that point I nearly creamed my pants (sarcastic). He then floored it again right up behind me and put his headlights back on, again so close all I could see was the light halo from the front of his car. He then hangs back again and puts his lights back off onto Angel Eyes... I think he did this about 3more times. At that point I turned off to me mates house. Can anyone tell me the significance of this prats actions? Was he asking for a a race or something? Not that I'd be bothered to anyway. Or did he think I might have been interested in seeing what the front of a Fiesta might look like when it is impaled into the back of a car? I'm missing something...

Its a shame the BMW one isnt clearer.... There also seems to be a fasination on YouTube of people videoing their spedoes from 0-60 standstills. There is also a fair few of some bloke videoing his C4 in his garage in Turkey(?) in the dark but you cant actually see anything...
-
This topic has gone right over my head
-
Whys that KFK? Would have thought they would have been the same for all models of C4? Just curious
-
Did you come across the BMW 320 v's C4 VTS clip? There are also one of some plonker handbraking it round a junction into a ditch.... You have to filter out the hundreds of C4 ad clips though... I'd post the links here but I cant as I am in work and any site which involve Flash are FORBIDDEN

I'd hate to think what else you browse whilst in bed :(

Well being that I bought the car from the Bristol Main Dealer I'd hope they'd have the decency to tell me about the recalls! <_< ...and not turn an hours bit of work to a days like they did when I took it in and they performed the recall...and I sat waiting, and waiting and work ringing asking where I am.
-
I agree with Syrup....I'd go back to bed if I was you...
-
Daft question... Have you rang another Local-ish dealer and asked them to see if they can get hold of the same part and see what the response is? If they say "3months lead time" then you know you arnt being fed a load of old oats. If they say "hang on a mo I got one on the rack".......say no more. If they say they can try and get one for you ask how long it would take to get in.....use this as a benchmark for your argument with original dealer. Just a thought.
-
Get back to bed your ill... <_<

I also think we need to be careful shouting "Recall" on the forum as everyone panics and wonders "if its them". Is there anyway we can set up a sticky with an up to date listing of the current Citroen Issued recalls so we actually know what is what and which vehicles are effected? That way we all dont end up asking the same questions pondering if its you that is affected and speculating the vehicles involved. Or are the issuing of the recall notices by Citroen so vauge and ad hoc that the information they provide will not support such a feature on the forum? I for one have never received a letter from Citroen claiming a recall (Although I have two recalls on XYD undertaken), so should I wait for a letter or should I go down the dealer or should I wait and see what happens? I know for one thing I'm not going to go down the dealers everytime someone mentions a recall, for a start how do I need to react to it? I'm not confident that the VOSA website is updated frequently enough to rely upon it as an upto date source of information.

Blige Vest and shorts wearers need only apply! Imagine how hot it will be inside after a day in the summer sun <_<
-
No its me and my local yocal ramblings.... Was supposed to read "Instant Read Out" shows no MPG readout unless i travel above a specific speed" Hope that clears things up a bit <_<
-
You are lucky not to have Frost and Ice then! Although rain can be bad enough. Welcome to the forum by the way! :o <_<
-
Obvioulsy, but I think it is flawed. Why does it not calculate MPG on the "Instant Read Out" above a certain MPH - because I am not moving. <_< So why on Setting 1, does it caluclate my MPG when I am not moving?! I am surly doing 0MPG as well? :o I understand I am still burning fuel but that would effect the range on the tank and not the MPG?
-
Nope you have to keep pushing the stalk down I'm affraid. Besides which they stay auto for the duration of the journey unles syou specifically turn them off. Where as the case for Light auto on is sensible as it is either dark or light, however the rain sensor isnt clever enough to detect frosty glass from wet glass could get confused and wreck your blades.
-
Is that lack of Air Con or Climate Control? You'd want something with all that glass!

I resest mine lastnight upon filling up and what was more worrying in the mile from reseting it to getting home I had traveled at an average speed of 12mph, covered 1 mile and was using fuel at the rate of 16.3mpg! :( I then pulled up outside my garage stopped and noticed that the trip computer droped to 16.1mpg, I then left it idling to open the door got back in and was then reading 15.7mpg! With a full tank again its now predicting a range of 323miles...yet with half a tank it said I could do 275miles? <_< So this got me thinking. Over the past month I have been wondering if perhaps my C4 has been using excessive amounts of fuel...or is the trip computer so inaccurate its not worth the salt? What got me confused more is that in "Instant Read Out Mode" it doesnt start calculating fuel consumption above a certain MPH, yet lastnight when I was watching the MPG drop in Mode 1 it was droping the MPG whilst stationary :o Yours Confused of Bristol.
