I agree it is a sloppy box compared to the Focus box I was used to before. That was probably the best box I've used. Nice and positive, clean no clunky mechanical feeling other than a nice weight until the centering spring broke...which was a frequent occurance. I'm used to sloppy boxes ( <_< ) I've put up with them in Minis before which is like stiring a pudding.

There is an upside to this problem you have. <_< If the two surfaces are rubbing together that will at least stop the annoying problem that many of us experience with the extending rest flying forward at any opertunity!

They are fitted...report coming Monday lunchtime... :( :D Monday?! Do they work? <_<

In the bonet area I'd imagine the chevrons and thats about it!

Good luck...the weather looks rubbish again. :( Ah yes...reminds me of the time Halfords tried selling disposable cameras. Me and some mates managed to get one working without damaging the packaging and took pictures of us all Mooning making sure our faces were obscured. We then replaced the camera on the shelf. It was purchased at some point in time... so somewhere out there someone has 5 pics of 5 Halfords employees arses. <_<

Its probably air turbulance caused by the blade wanging around. I'm actually embarased to go in Halfrauds and see if they actually sell a blade that small... <_<

When I first showed my mate my car,t he very first thing he commented on was the size of the wiper...he found it highly amusing.

In agreement... I also enjoy seing the stupid sized exhausts mounted to a 1 liter Nova and where the exaust rubs the plastic trim has melted the surounding area. Such a classy look.

I think that is the common mis conception that if it makes loads of noise, is bigger then that must mean extra BHP. A silencer is made to do just that silence!

Just what you want for an all out blast round the streets. Very low geared but incredibly quick.

C4 Rally Cross ...518bhp and 531lb-ft of torque  0-62mph - 2.39seconds

Some countries insist that all cars have these fitted by law. Some countries also insist spare glasses if you need them for driving, spare light bulbs etc. Here in the UK we are not required any of the above kit unless you choose to do so. My honest opinion I think it is a good thing that you carry these items as you never need when you need them for yourself or to assist someone else.

I cant help marvell at how much extra POWER this is going to give me

http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/7716/bigpipesy3.jpg I've ordered mine...although I'm not sure how the fitment will effect the reversing sensors B) ;) Wozza Is the trim the same as the VTS tail pipe trim..I thought you already had it or am I just making that up? As said above I like mine just the way it is.

Most monocoque chassis built cars rely on the roof as the main structural element as well as the floor to retain ridigity. I know on a Mini when you cut into the roof the whole lot just flops everywhere. No idea how this effects the C4 however I'd imagine those fitted with the full glass roof are specific manufactured bodies.

or a licence and MOT for that matter

Anyway..... we need to get back on topic because in the spirit of this forum as always we've gone off topic! :D ... chaps/chapesses (if we have any?) its water under the bridge lets get back to what we normally chat about the Citroen C4...:P Whats the score with the door then as to me it looks like someone has swung into a space next to you pranged it and legged it? My ultimate fear in car parks that is... :P

Wowa there Moggy As pasionate about the subject you may be and how sorry i am for your car having a wallop, getting personal and directly telling forum members "to remove sticks from arses" isnt the way this forum operates. Please dont insult other forum members even if they have said something you dont agree with. :P After all we are a friendly crowd

Now now Wozza :P

Is there much difference between the routing, mounting, shape, dimension, lenght of the exaust between the two models? I'm quite happy with the OE one on mine.
-
Perhaps... but then you think how many units are going through the production line one or two things are invariably going to get through un-noticed and will only show their faces when the end user gets a chance to use it. :P as an example, I assume that one in every 30 units is goes through a rigerous check and if that one is ok the assumption that the other 29 are ok too. Otherwise checking each car will take forever and the cost of vehicle will go up, afterall you are paying for a proportion of labour as well as material to make the car. A Jag perhaps would have every 10 checked and Aston every individual unit... :P I agree QC checks at the dealers are perhaps a little lacking as the VTS had a number of faults that it had to go back with that were so say "checked" but were glaringly obvious if someone had checked it, slack? or was it really checked? :D These faults are all fixable and will not cause detrimental damage to the car. My old Focus had component failure left right and centre and left me stranded a number of times... that is what I would call a Friday car!

Yup, every time the windows are open and you reach the right speed. Most effective way to stop the other half playing with the window controls :D (hurts her ears too much). Ian Black 55 VTR+ Yes! It is the same here! Only the reverse... she has the window right down and I half expect her to stick her head out the window like you see the dogs doing on the motorway. :P Meanwhile in the drivers seat all I can hear is thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud in my ears from the resonance. Size 10's and good quality trainers! The MPG has dropped dramatically recently from an average of about 31 round town to 20. Also my tank range has altered from 410 to 296miles. I know this is a very rudimentory way of calculting the range but...I'm putting it down to having to drive in very heavy traffic...at least I hope. Lastnight 2bars had gone on a full tank and only covered 51miles. I'm only getting an average speed of 14mph last time I checked, I'm hoping next fill up and a blast down the M5 will change things....

Oooooo Handbags.... :P Bit more to it than just the VTR... Engine yada yada yada Steering Headlamps yada yada yada Suspension yada yada... and the all important Black Panel function :D I read that auction as just being the offside light cluster for a C4. Its Halogen so thats any car without the HID. I'd be a bit wary of the auction doesnt perzactly tell you what you are buying.
-
No you didnt...you bought a good car with a wonky bonet and a bit of wind thats all. :D Its all easily fixable, just need to find the cause.

Is that the area in the shaded bit by the rear view mirror?
