  1. it will have diagnostic capabilitys but it wont be a 16 pin obd. most top end scanners come with various leads that should fit it the connector
  2. yes it will come up front ride height sensor no signal or out of range. best way is to just remove the link bar and grease it
  3. when the intank pump goes down you will get a rail pressure/pump fault aswell as its not geting any fuel. these will go once they get diesel in
  4. check your front ride hieght sensor for signs of siezing. The bhi unit should lower the front end of the car at 65 to 70 to increase handling. it cant if the r/h/sensor dosnt let the ecu no where its at
  5. the intank pumps are under 50 quid at motorist shops. if you near the tyne and wear area ive got one you can try
  6. go to under bonnet fuse box and youle see 3 multi plugs going into it. remove middle plug and on the left hand bank of terminals check the 3 or 4th one up for burning as ive seen quite a few burn out. if burnt put multiplug back on and gently tap it while someone turns the key and see if car starts
  7. lift up pass front carpet and remove white piece of polystirene theres 3 multiplugs behind it. clean and check these. pass feet are always squashing them
  8. 10 mm alan key and if memory correct its L shaped bracket inbetween block and the turbo
  9. looking left to right the crossmember is the very last bit of the car on the right. that is held on with 2 support/crumple brackets which are bolted onto the end of the chassis and covered by a panel called the rear valence. if the bit where you have put the red line through is what your worried about and believe to be out of line. then the chassis would need jigging to pull the corner into line. This is only guessing mind unless you can put actual pics up
  10. think youl find its the support bracket thats keeping it on. acsess from the bottom 1 10mm hex on the block and 1 underneath the manifold
  11. i would make it now. Also get the sump pulled off (very easy and should only be a hours labour) and checked and cleaned for any signs of the oil solidifying. Ford now state that the only proper fix after a turbo failure on a 1.6 is to replace the whole engine
  12. what year and engine is it
  13. hi can you put some pics up please. has the timing belt been done and is it a 2 or a 2.2 please
  14. your first step has to be a diagnostic on the car could be something as simple as a fuse. Intank pump check is a quick one to rule out just sit in the car making sure everything is switched of and all is quiet. lift up back seat and remove round plastic cover. switch ignitition on and you should hear the intank pump prime itself for 5 or s6 seconds. try that and get back to us. re the other c5 if its in good condition and your happy with it then go for it
  15. Drain oil then flush the system with a quality oil flush then reflush then refill with correct oil from the dealers
  16. sounds like your heading for a alternator. might be worth geting it checked
  17. hi. couldnt understand why yours didnt have the multiplugs under the carpet. having asked around with people i know the general opinion seems to be that the 1.6 model didnt have the wiring put in because the alternator just cant give the power that is needed to run the heated seat and the car at the same time due to the size of the engine. if you get them up and running could you send me the info on how you did it please.
  18. sounds like a broken microswitch. youl need to do a diagnostic on the door before you can sort it
  19. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2009-Citroen-C5-mk-3-III-breaking-for-spare-parts-2l-Diesel-Manual-LHD-/321521735667?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4adc3057f3 try these there breaking a mk 3
  20. thanks for letting us know
  21. you can return it under the sale of goods act. and get any cost refunded
  22. the multiplugs live under the carpet. youl find them once you take the seats out. youl also need to put a maxi fuse into the engine fuse box. and possibly a coupe in the interior fuse box for the motors
  23. just bolts on top and bottom. take a bit time and strip it slowly and youl see
  24. Has it got a serated edge round the top of the filter housing or a plastic type nut on the top
  25. hello and welcome
