  1. have you checked the bolts that secure the ram in.
  2. none just depresurise the system. remove the sphere with oil strap or sphere tool screw in new one. start the car up and it will fill the system itself
  3. Push on pull off. really tight to get of though. We sit in the middle with one leg drivers side and the other pass side and just pull like hell
  4. It to the right of your air filter its a big black box. there about £40 and a bit of a arse to do as you need to remove some of your auir pipes to get at it
  5. What engine size have you got
  6. If you havnt got the software to depressurise the system there is another way. put car on ramp with susppension on low and cap removed and disconect the battery. next to the rear height adjuster youul see a bleed nipple with the suspension pipes connected to it. put a hose over the nipple and open it very slowly and just a bit at a time so you can control the flow. Once the plow has stopped the system has lost its pressure
  7. Reverse gear dosnt have a syncromesh on it and thats why sometimes they crunch. next time put it into any gear first then try reverse. if no better then give the box a oil change and check the gear linkage for wear
  8. Have you recently started using supermarket fuel
  9. If you put that post on again in clearer english you might get a answer. As i dont think anyone understands the question youve asked
  10. A 3/8th ratchet and extension fit into the center of the piston and can be used to wind both sides back

  17. Forget about the turbo Take pauls advice and that will put the aceleration problem right rear axel bushes £70 each bit of a chew on to do but theres a " how to" posting on here hanbrake at the worst caliper and cable £100 that if it needs both mostly only one needed. If its the caliper try unsiezing it. Lights staying on well some do that deliberatley for when you park in a garage to allow you to see while you leave and lock garage up and can be altered with lexia. If your dosnt have that spec then its the comms unit £20 from scrappy and very easy and clean job to do. basicly youve just got common faults and certinley not worth scrapping a car over and at only a 142k its just starting to get run in man
  18. Merry xmas hope you all have a good and healthy christmas with your loved ones. And please please dont drink and drive
  19. Have you got a tow bar fitted
  20. put it on ebay or get it repaired. If it was very low speed you mite of just snapped a lifter or 2. if you were doing 10mph or more then itl be valves bent
  21. Just give the car a run about 10 miles should do the trick as youl have bits of air of where the pipes were slackened off
  22. yes its normal. once the engine is fired up the economy mode will go off and all will be restored. the car is designed to do that when it senses a power drain and no power going in. So dont worry about that
  23. Sifaan i think youve got one of 2 problems here 1 youve bent one of the pins where the multiplug goes in or the multiplug itself is broke as they HAVE to go lock fully into place 2 weve had this happen quite a few times when the pump gets completley drained. The fluid needs a bit of a hand to get into the pump. We have 2 ways of doing it depending on where we are. 1 put a airline into the resovoir and stuff the opening with rags then get someone to work the hydraulics with the engine running then slowly put some air in. Dont go daft just a couple of pounds. 2 ues a eezy bleed that you get for the brakes as they come with a assortment of tops. But make sure youl let loads of air out of the tyre your connecting to il say it again MAKE SURE YOU LET THE AIR OUT OF THE TYRE. because if you dont and you conect 30 psi up to it you knack the seals. you want at the most 4 or 5 pounds of pressure in the tyre.
  24. are you capable of doing the work yourself. If so could talk you through it
  25. took a c5 in for taxi test today. handed keys over and went and sat in the waiting booth. 30 mins later the tester is shouting of me as i went over to the pit i could hear the hissing coming from the back end of the car and could see a wet tester. Yep a suspension pipe had burst just at the moment the tester was right next to it. Well ive never seen a c5 come out of the testing day as quick because it was only a matter off time befoer the car ended up on the ground with no steering. And that would of stopped all tests till it was lifted onto the back of a low loader. Hopefully the tester has seen the funny side of it and no doubt will end up laughing about it in time. the test was aborted
