  1. Youl need to get the car plugged in and get a fault code. otherwise it would just be a guess as to what is wrong
  2. what was wrong with the old engine as the oil could be left over of the previous engine as youve said your not using any oil. the 1.6 if not looked after properly with regular oil changes will gung everything up. had them with oil in the brake servo unit before and every pipe including the intercooler. You should maybe consider removing everything exhaust/intercooler/air flow pipes etc etc and clean the loot out with degreaser as recomended by the manufactures
  3. im sure weve got a complete set somewhere i.e head unit/changer/and wiring will have a look on munday and get back to you
  4. Right hand dide of the engine bay just behind the fuse box there a black plastic panel held on with 2 clips it lives in there
  5. definatley face forward just behind the bar you pull to move the seat back and forth. Dont know if it has to be coded with your vin like the head units do. And are you sure its a citroen one as the plugs in the harness will be correct
  6. We have in the past had a 50% sucsess rate with siezed calipers by leaving them in a bucket of brake fluid overnight and then gently playing with the lever. But we stopped doing this when we found out that the local discount store can supply them for £60
  7. check with dealers to see if new mirror is available
  8. kimo check your turbo boost solenoid. As for stuck injectors in the past weve unbolted the stuck injuctor just leaving the fuel pipe on and reved the engine right up very stupid and dangerous but it has shifted them.
  9. What does the smoke smell of also are you using any oil or water. maybe check up on the following the fap filter works on air pressure to operate the switch so by extending the pipes youve lowered the pressure to the switch.
  10. The cd changer faces forward and chances are that the wiring has been shoved under the carpet to hide it. Ive got a loom for one somewhere will pull it out and check for you
  11. use the straw that comes with the wd40 and insert it into the lock from the outside. give it loads of wd over a couple of hours the use the key to open and close it via the pass side
  12. remove the drivers side inner wheel arch then a couple of clips and 2 torxs screws and youl get straight into the washer bottle
  13. Would say that clutches would be down to wear and tear as diferent drivers have that many different driving paterns you really couldnt put a exact warranty on it. And personaly i think it is a excellent gesture of citroen to offer to pay anything at all. people tend to forget about a thrust bearing when keeping the pedal pressed down at lights etc. they dont realise that it can be spinning at 700rpm and theres no way to replenish the grease that lubricates it. In a nutshell snap there hand off
  14. If you leave the car with a lock on the steering wheels it will do this.straighten the wheel when you park. its just a little quirk and a laugh for the local kids when they see it happening
  15. Take mr wombles advice its correct
  16. Hi if its the one in the picture then weve got one phone 07800694498 ask for steve
  17. Take the bottom hose of( jubilee clip) the intercooler and put a dish under the hose and the cooler and leave overnight. idealy you dont want any oil to come out at all. If you have to get it plugged in ask them to have a look at the air flow meter. Do you get any smoke out the back when it loses any power
  18. Drain the intercooler and the air filter if no improvement then think about getting the turbo boost solenoid checked on a diagnostic
  19. Run with your sidelights on
  20. Be very very carefull when adding live wires. The ecu shuts it all down for a reason and by stopping this you could be opening a very expensive can of worms.
  21. itl be fine just turn the side lights on to wake the ecu up instead of the ignition then give it a couple of mins for the imobiliser to sort itself out before you start it
  22. Seefive is quite correct fill to the seem only
  23. Its a fuel issue youve got. The ecu is getting a low fuel warning probally from the pressure sensor on the diesel rail and closing your low pressure pump down to stop damage. Plug your scanner in and go to live data and see what pressure you have at the fuel rail. Also if its a bosch system then id say its the fuel filter housing
  24. Recheck your diesel filter seals and pipes and recheck the areas you have worked on for lose wires or hoses
  25. Gear knob just pulls of but its really hard to do. Your better off using wd40 and get it right into the bet thats sticking with the straw of the can then just work it up and down
