  3. Yes voltage to both sensors. dealer say voltage is correct. I get on really well with him and hes going to phone citreon tomorow for advice.Got me baffled

  6. Its not showing any codes at all just 02 sensors not ready.This is the bit that the dealer cant understand an says it must be showing a code until we ran the car through to him and showed him.

  8. so what does it mean when it says 02 sensors not ready thata the bit that myself or the dealers havent come across b4.as i have a strong feeling that this is the cause of the problem
  9. can anyone explain how the 02 sensors work as im having problems with them. when the car is plugged in there are no trouble codes present but on live data it says that both sensors b4 and after cat are not ready checked wiring and fuses and all ok. local dealer says they have never come accross the problem b4. history = the car bought with snapped belt replaced 4 valves= engine fires up straight away but idles iraticly revs up ok my thinking = because the o2 sensors are not sending readings back then the car cant adjust the fuel/air mixture c5 2litre petrol y reg 90k
  10. Hi ive filled my up many times through the speed sensor and intend to try the breather next time and the best way is to drain it all out and replace with new oil as it only cost a tenner for 2 litres and can only do your box good
  11. theres a topic on hear about diamantling the trip stark and repairing it. try that
  12. try multiplug that goes into comm 2000 unit also make sure that the unit is secure its behind steering wheek and dashboard
  13. Hi is that your other listing about radio going off if it id would maybe put the 2 problems together and start by checking all the wiring plugs and the earth leads then battery and alternator output. steve
  14. Hi just had a proper look at them tonight as it been really quiet at work and i would say yes they would fit as mountings and brackets are all in the same place. Just remember to disconect the battery b4 you start
  15. forgot to mention itl probally be a dL16 cable plus an adapter to connect it to your laptop
  16. to plug car in open glove box and pull panel of for fuses and youl see ur obd connection there. if you want to use scsn tool and laptop the leads are availible on ebay under diagnostic tools.all you can do with then is read engine trouble codes and clear them. why do you want to be into obd have you got a fault. steve

  19. Hi mintex or quinten hazel seem to do me fine although in the past ive even went to dealers you pay more but they do last longer and when your hurdling down the road at seventy and you need to stop then maybe the extra you pay at dealers becomes worth it.
  20. try using ur 3/8 ratchet first im sure that it just fits straight into it. if not the local discount store we got a set of sump plug removers for 7 quid by laserline and they work fine. Snap that i normally use wanted £51 so it got me thinkig now
  21. try ur local electrical or discount store fo a tine of switch cleaner. remove stalk from car an get as far into it with the spray as you can use the straw that comes with it
  22. top of the box next to g/box mounting youl see 2 wires going into it pull plug of and unscrew the sensor
  23. Ok drain plug on bottom of gearbox the manual box holds 2 litres. To fill it up we just remove the top speed sensor and let the oil flow (make sure you put the right grade of oil in i think (think mind) that its ep 75w80 but check first steve
