If you do that, will settings like enabling the AUX socket be reset to default values too ?

Mine came set to km/h. It was the first thing i changed. I did it before i opened the manual, so its pretty logical how the menu structure works. I bet with 10 mins you can get it set, just by playing with the buttons.

I remember petrol half that price !

I only get this when starting up. Ie get into car, start engine in nuetral, put into reverse to get off drive, or reverse out of parking space.

Yep. Manual aircon, not climate control (save a bit of petrol :D )

Also, not good when the other half is vegetarian

I've noticed this, but i had it in my Saxo, so not really worried about it. Rather than force it into reverse, if i feel the resistance i put it in neutral, bring up the clutch pedal, then put it down again and put the gear stick into reverse. The resitance goes and it goes smoothly into reverse.

If this is as good a deal as you think, then the salesman may well want it back to sell onto someone who wont knock him down as much, hence getting him more commision, once they fix the aircon.

Tomorrow is my car's 1st Birthday, co Citroen Assist runs out. I hope it doesnt break down now (havent sorted out RAC yet) I should have ticked minor faults not affecting drivability too, as well as never broken down.

Following from an earlier thread, i had a look at my spare. Spare tyre: 195/65R15 Wheels: 205/55R16 So, my wheels are 16 inch diameter, but my spare is 15 inches. Does this not mean that if i get a puncture and swap that tyre for my spare, that the opposite wheel will not touch the floor?

Do we have space savers on the C4 then? I hadnt realised.

I wouldnt like to get the power pins shorted together. But as long as they dont there's no problem. Would something non conductive work, like clingfilm? Looks good though. Does it hold even round sharp corners and over speedbumps? Mine fell of this morning, going over a speed bump. I've got it held onto t he fan grill with a cheapo mobile phone holder. Looks good, right where i want it, but its just not as stable as i'd like.

Anyone know where we stand with CDRs in the Citroen fitted radio with respect to the warranty? My dad's Mondeo cd autochanger swallowed a CDR, and Ford wouldnt fix it under warranty, as they dont allow recorded CDs. Claimed they are slightly wider, whcih i have noticed, some are. They want £700 to replace his radio! And its not a standard size (6 CD autochanger and radio all in headunit), so he cant use the CD player unless he coughs up.

Before i even knew about the C4 being released, i wanted C4 PEL (my surname is Capel). Now it would be a double whamy!! When i win the lottery.

There is video connecters in the glove box, I have plugged a digital camera and video camera in but it cuts out when the car is moving. Hmm, how hard can it be to 'fix' that? :rolleyes:
