This thread might be of some use to you. I made a holder for my MP3 player, a Sony Walkman one. Its in the dash drawer to the right of the steering wheel. The pictures are on the the 2nd or 3rd pages. Also some info on fitting the cable, getting it enabled etc.

http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o88/mprelf/DSC00591a.jpg What do ya think??? Its a great car, really nice to drive. The ride is a bit harsher then the C4, but its not uncomfortable. The steering seems more direct, and it doesn't roll as much as the C4. The interior is very futuristic, but I didnt feel as immediately ikn touch with it as I did when i first sat in my car, it'll certainly take some getting used to. Its got 13000 miles on it and feels really soild. The 1.8 i-VTEC engine is a little sluggish at low revs, but show it some clear road and a big boot and it dont half shift, sounds pretty good to. And, its got more power then my car, 142BHP versus my 138BHP. BOO!!!

Well, ive booked it in. They are having it for 2, possibly 3 days and I have been given a Noddy, sorry, C1 courtesy car. I asked about the Com2000 and they said my car shouldn't have been affected, but they will have a look. Anyway, hopefully it will all be sorted out then.

Someone knicked the badge off the frnt of my old Rover once. They were fixed on with some sort of rivet. I Epoxy'd the replacement one on. Only problem is, badge thieves probably aren't the sharpest tools, but they use sharp tools and the damage they'ed cause before they realise it aint coming off would be bad.

Thanks KFK, excellent stuff as always!!!

Is that so... I might ask about that this week then. Im going down to book it in for some work to be done anyway. Thanks for the heads up on that Lee.

I went to Brighton yesterday with my GF yesterday, did a grand total of 176 miles. Got back to her place and had some dinner, then watched TV for a bit then left. Went out to the car, pushed the unlock button... Nothing. Pushed it again and nothing again. Opened it manually from the passenger door and got in, went to start and it turned over but would not fire, the display showing 'Anti Theft Immobiliser Fault' Tried twice more and same thing. Went back in, rang my dad to run my spare key out to me. I thought I'd try again whilst waiting. Went out, pushed the unlock button, it opened, got in and it started first time fine!!! Must have been some interferance from something or the baattery is going.

Ive heard people mentioning this before. Think it will just start working again of its own accord!!!

ESP does stop you from spinning the wheels. I know, because Ive tried it. The wheels spin briefly, the ESP light flashes, all power is cut and the wheels stop spinning.
-
On French roads, if there is a traffic jam, people always show hazards until they have stopped, then the next car hazards etc etc.
-
I have had my ESP flashing, I was going over the crest of a left handed uphill bend and it came in as the back end went light. I have turned it off before, but it comes back on over 30MPH I think. Also, I cant wheelspin with it on, the car just cuts all power and bogs down!!! Ive never been able to get the ABS working. Must be the wide tires. Ive tried from 30MPH, bit of a wimp to try from any higher speeds.

Well come to the last millenium Lee!!!

Apart from when you go to pull away and the clutch has overheated and you dont go anywhere, or you do, slowly with lots of noise!!!

Im sure I read somewhere that you can get a conversion kit to allow you to use normal wipers. £50 is expensive, but it is a new design that only a few models use, so i suppose in terms of the total amount of wipers made, the flat blades represent a very small proportion.

The silver ones that say 'Citroen'??? I have them. They do look good dont they.

He got it naturally, cant remember how he said he did it now though. There was an old thread with this picture in and it was explained then. Cant find it now.

Do the job properly and get an AC Cobra!!! Loads of different engines to choose from in the replicas, so you will find one to be insured on, and you still get those looks.

My aircon is leaking. I must get it looked at, because the carpets are quite wet. Apparently, it is just a blocked drain. Quite easy to fix.

I think you have posted this in wrong thread Mike. Doh!!! Im gonna move it. Sorry people!!!

I disagree :P The manufacturers would not state 20,000 miles unless they thought that is all that is needed. The improvements in oils and engines means less time spent at the dealer, which can only be a good thing. It's one of the reasons I went for the C4. Audi's on variable servicing can go up to 24,000 or more before servicing. No, they say that to appeal to the company car buyers.

Well, in my Citroen service book it says the 1.6 HDi's are 12500 and the 2.0 HDi's are 20000, so that clears that up!!! And I agree, 20,000 miles for any engine is stupid.
-
HDI's have to be setviced every 12,500 miles. Petrols are every 20,000 miles.

You pay a set amount a month and in return you get so many free minutes and so many free texts, plus some contracts give free data downloads etc. My own contract is an O2 Antime 200 or something, and for that i get 500 texts and 120mins a moth free. Its called an Anytime 200 because you can have a talker option which is 200mins, but only a hundred texts. I pay £30 per month, which includes £5 insurance. You generally pay by Direct Debit. If you default on a payment, I'm not sure, I suppose they just cut you off. You generally keep them for a year or 18months. After the contract you can take out a new one and an upgraded phone, or stop the contract. If you keep it 18months, you generally get lower monthly payments. Dont ever pay for the handset, tell them you can get it free on another network. Also go into somewhere and haggle them hard, you'll get a much better deal. Hope that helps

You can get 95 in France. Sans Plomb 95 or Sans Plomb 98. I suppose it is better for the engine, but its so damn expensive.
