Part of the whole cheapness about them. There not supposed to be well made and exhaust is a known thing from what im aware of. Still would not want to go back to small car like that again after having the comfort of the C4. I agree Wozza, once in a bigger car difficut to go back. Great as a first car and the secret is to go for basic if you are in the market for a cheap new car.

I think the dealer may be able to change the timing to longer, but it prevents a flat battery. If you start up the engine after half an hour, it will reset to another half hour. My dealer said he cannot change Economy Mode at all on my C5, but at least I won't get a flat battery in future. As Kfk said before, have you tried to bump start a C8? :D

Seizing and bleeding nipples. Sounds painful to me :rolleyes:

Why so long for factory ordered C4's? My Picasso with rear sensors was 6 weeks and C1 about 4 weeks. Are French workers slower then? :blink:

My guess 6 to 8 weeks for factory order.

I'm sure the the Dealer may help out under warranty if you ask nicely and get on well with them. You can say they haven't been stuck on properly originally and have fallen off :angry:

My radio turns off automatically when Chris Evans or Jonathon Ross is on. Don't think I can claim under warranty for this one :angry:

Good evening Kfk Is it Citroen's policy to tell dealers not to retro fit cruise control? :o Presumably if incorrectly fitted there could be a liability issue?

56k on my C5 original pads and shoes but will need replacing at next 62.5k service.

C1 1.0 Vibe ordered for delivery in first week in December. Look forward to the C1 Forum one day.

Arch Welcome to the forum. I have both C5 and Picasso and found them reliable and well made. There will be niggles but all cars have those so I would chose the car that fits your lifestyle best.

RISK OF PARTICULATE FILTER BLOCKING is coming on twice a day. Do you think I should get it to a garage sooner than two weeks away?

The RISK OF BLOCKED PARTICULATE FILTER message came on again yesterday, and then I had a loss of power when accelerating a bit later in the day. The car is booked in for November 17th, so I will let you know how I get on.
