@ kfk Not wishing to get in a fight here but you have to feel for Moggy...he's only letting out a little of the anger he must feel.. @ Moggy Sorry to see whats happened mate. Was it definately a car that inflicted the damage, or kids?

I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to plug them in, remember the VT and VTR are just stripped down VTS's at the end of the day. Trouble is it would be expensive when you consider you'd need two headlights, possibly the ballast units needed to power them, and then fitting costs on top of that!

My brother is fitting them. I wouldn't have a clue! ;) He did mention he could pick the car up from me while I'm in work tomorrow...but I'm not sure about handing him the keys...he drives a Ibiza 1.8T 20v normally...he might attempt the same performance out of it!

Haven't washed mine for months !!! As mentioned before I'm due a free detail from my mate's company but I figure I might as well use it at the start of Summer. So the car may not get a wash till after Christmas! ;)

Looks good - will be getting some of these sidelight bulbs for Christmas I think! Talked to my brother yesterday and apparently the HID kits will be with him tomorrow... ;)

I would say that the change of brakes doesn't *always* fix the problem, but hey, it's new brakes that you wont have to pay for so you might as well get it done! :(

Anybody know what "type" of sidelight bulbs the C4 uses? I've had a look on a few sites with no luck, but I've come across a few Citroen models using "501" bulbs...would this work?

Nice to hear a positive comment about a dealership! I can't fault my Cardiff dealership - they look at and repair everything I have asked them too - must have completely wiped out the profit Citroen made on the sale of the car to me...but then again, everything should have been right in the first place! <_<

Good News - Check his feedback is acceptable before sending him the cash though! I recently (3 weeks ago!) sold my old 18" alloys on ebay - STILL waiting for the guy to collect them with cash on collection, so at the moment the ball is in his court...

I'm assuming the unit is controlled through the HU? This would of course be a problem, but could the screen be wired permantely to an external source (I.E Playstation?)

In what sense...for the unit, or because fitting would cost? There is the occasional crash damaged VTS on ebay, could be an opportunity for a cheap unit?

Just been looking at the Planet Citroen website and some threads about Plugging a PS2 into the NaviDrive Screen.. How difficult do you reckon it would be to retrofit on of these units? I assume the Car would need to be programmed into recognising the addition of the unit, but would that be the hardest thing? Might see if I can source a second hand unit

If I remember rightly (when I had the C1 as a curtesy car) you need to turn the car, and then squeeze two "blocks" on the petrol cap inwards in order to release the cap. Hope this helps!
