Unless the bearing is actuly cracked or smashed then all you need to do is give it a good clean then loads of new grease and there normally ok after that. Failing that just get one from the scrappy

Weve had this a few time and it seems to be when the drivers side inner cv is u/s or the boot has gone and the joint has run dry. it stops the joint from slidding in the cup remember its the inner one and not the outer

Check the wiring that the supplied the prmenant live feed to the hands free kit as these need a permanent live aswell. If hands free kits arnt takin with the electricsg out properly they can cause all kinds of problems. The reason for a diagnostic is that it will check all the systems, wires, and relays so you will be able to rule them out. As for the dealer you used dont judge them all by that experience as we have a good dealership up here (town center citroen). If the diagnostic comes back ok then id do one of two things either reload the software for the sat/nav and/or take the head unit out and get it checked as you say that it works sometimes but you didnt say weather it keeps blowing the radio fuse

do a search on google for pin data for citroen that will show you what wire is what. The unit should have a permenant live in order to retain the date and time when the ignition is of. I would think that it would be on the same circit as the hazzards so could be worth checking that fuse for correct rating etc also has it had a hands free kit in the car that hasnt been taking out correctley. Is the traffic master working or has it been diconected under the dash. maybe a dealer diagnostic would prove usefull as youl get a print out of all systems.

remember reading somewhere that its to absorb any moisture.

Dont understand what bit you are on about. Do you mean the traffic master or to do with sat nav

had this fault a few years ago just not sure what we done to resolve it. I think it was the mass airflow. Is your engine light on all the time as youl be in limp home. If you feel like nipping through the tunnel well plug it in for you you and see whats what (subject to you turning up with a bacon sandwhich and a cuppa) best regards steve

take the bottom hose of your intercooler stick a dish/bucket underneath the intercooler making sure the intercooler hose is in the bucket aswell and leave it overnight and see how much oil comes out. If you have the time remove the intercooler itself and flush it out. Diesels are dirty engines and the build up of oil round the cooler is normalish.

Could be worth checking the wires under the seat just in case one of them has come lose. Other than that i would just live with it as the comms unit is not cheap. Ive got four of them sitting on a shelf all with the airbag fault on

Think youve answered your own question there gs

if you do a search on heating youl find the answer. As this subject has been covered a few times Its the motors for the heating flaps

Firstly if you are in anyway unsure get the dealer to do it. Because if you get it wrong you could end up DEAD and thats no joke. Theres a few people been hurt when there not to sure. anyway 1 raise the car of the ground so that the wheels are of the ground 2 puy hydraulics onto full setting 3 make sure wheels are still off the ground and slacken each sphere a quarter turn 4 plug the car in and tell it to deprsurise the hydraulic system 5 swap the spheres over make sure old seals come out and put new seals into the rams and not on the spheres cover each seal with lds fluid befor inserting 6 replenish the lds resorvoir 7 start car up and wait till it liifts ups then play with the hydraulics up and down a few times checking for any leaks 8 put onto lowest setting and recheck lds fluid IF YOUR NOT SURE GET SOMEONE TO DO IT

When it does this does the engine pick itself up to fire like 1 then 2 then 3 cylinders or does it fire up instantley also is there any smoke when it fires up

Hi when driving along the heater plug light (heater light doubles up as engine light) comes on and van looses power switch ignotion off and straight back on and it runs fine till you come to a hill or put anykind of load on the engine then switch it off and straight back on and its fine again and so the cycle goes on. Plugged van in and it came up with heater plug fault turbo boost pressure clutch switch so on advice boost solonoid changed, clutch switched changed and advised that heater plug is a very common fault and didnt warrant changing. Anyway took van back on road and same fault again so back we went and advised to change mass airflow meter but again same problem when back on the road. So back we went air filter removed and wires to the injectors appear to have been rubbing against the air box and lost all the insulation so they were taped up and back on the road and again the same problem. So back we went and this time the egr valve was removed and cleaned and back on the road we went only for the problem to still be there. So back we went amd this time the fuse box cover was removed and the multi plugs seperated and cleaned and back on the road we went only to find that the problem was still there. Next the software on the ecu was checked and found to be out of date so a software update was done and the van is a lot smother but the fault is still there so to recap 1x clutch switch 1x mass airflow 1x boost solonoid injector wires insulated egr valve cleaned fuse box multiplugs cleaned and wd squirted in them All wires and pipes checked and ok. 1 x software up date Now been advised to change either camshaft or crankshaft sensor. Also only fault codes now coming up are for the heater plug and boost pressure (overboosting) Any ideas please as its getting beyond a joke now

having a bit trouble with a vauxhall vivaro if anybody fancys having a say on it. And before anyone says owt yes i know this is a citroen site. Have been on the vauxhall site and it was just a waste of time (they were about as friendly as techbod in a dealership ha ha)

Would start by taking the bulbs out and checking them (I know its unusual for 4 to go but you never know). Next check the wiring espscally the earth side as no earth would put the lights out. Next the light stalk needs checking. Does your airbag light c0me on as thats normally a sign of the comm unit going. And last a diagnostic

How you managing on 2 wheels then
