  1. Well the colour of one car is never exactly the same as another car. So things do get messed up a bit. My old cinquecento was a complete bugger to get a match on due to how many shades of broom yellow there were. Gave up in the end.
  2. They did come and match it to your batch didnt they? As iron grey has various shades depending on batches so maybe you got a wrong batch? Or an incorrectly labeled one etc. Although in my experience 9 times out of 10 touch up sticks are useless.
  3. Guide to installing the speakers is on the sister site. Specifically for the picasso so they are likely to be able to help you more over there. With any technical problems. Can give you some recommendations for speakers etc though if you give me a budget to stick to as I dont know if your wanting to spend something like £100 for all 4 or £200 for all 4 etc. Or wanting something cheaper. http://www.citroenpicasso.org.uk/picasso/i...?showtopic=8447

    Lazy Car

Stick around and you will see a lot of my comments are sarcy lol. Why do i drive a car....as i dont care about global warming hence me wanting a big American V8 powered thing. The UK is already a rather green country compared to other who are doing sod all to combat anything. And to be honest were not doing that much to the bloody planet anyway. It has a habit of changing its climate somewhat.
  5. Can pick up a brand new R26 for £14k Or a decent 182 for aorund £8k if your looking 2nd hand otherwise Clio197 and megane are roughly the same price. Just have to shop around and look at the net if the dealer wont match there prices try another one. They can be quite good on there prices. Or look at an older megane as with so many special version depreciation was rather bad. With a bit of fettling though you can make 270 - 280bhp and be able to keep up with impreza's fairly easily. And by little I mean a few hundred. Clio is a little more fun around corners but driving position etc can be a bit annoying after a while not good to stay in for long periods of time. I took mine to London once and it was awful sitting it it that long.
  6. Join up on the other forum and pay the joining fee and the spoiler which is usually £200 can be had from a dealer for £130 delivered. It worth the £10 joining fee alone. http://www.c4owners.co.uk/plugins/content/....php?content.24 List of the discounts we have setup for the £10 fee you pay. Its done so that whatever you buy pretty much saves you the costs on the joining fee. {edit} just noticed you have already signed up. You should be able to find the phone number or email address in the members area to order them from the guy at the dealer.
  7. Never mind it getting towed. Get a sodding spoiler on there!

Dont worry about it honestly If it goes there is something else wrong with the engine there designed to be able to utilize the full rev range afterall other wise your rev limit would be lower.
  10. Should be going faster :-P the 1.6 can make it up to those speeds never mind the VTS. I want to see you come back with a picture for 220+KPH lol.

Its good for the engine to occasionally be taken up to the redline though the gears. So dont be worried about it. Your also not gonna break the engine doing it. These engines are put through a hell of a lot more torture in development and testing than you will do on the road.
  12. Id look at the meg R26 myself. Handle well and have a bit more oomph compared to the clios. Although both great cars. Loved my little Clio. Just the new one needs more power 197bhp just is not enough for the added weight.
  13. Never broke the clutch on any of my other cars just think these have weak clutches. Plus a fair few of us have needed them replaced now.

    Bhp

True but just saying book figures are usually wrong. Like the VTS is over 8 seconds to 60 yet seen a few things saying there definitely under 8 seconds.

The 1.6 is definitely quicker than the book figures suggest. Think timed mine to 60 in around 9.3 not amazingly fast but it is only a 1.6.
  16. What about the thule roofracks? I cant remember who it was that had them fitted on here now if you do a search in the forum might turn up something. Interesting. It could have some uses though.
  17. Earlier the better. Although it is a fairly light car to push. Just not fun doing it in the rain at 4am. grrr.
  18. If its a 1.6 diesel you have the same engine is in the ford focus. As for removing trim the C4 comes apart really easily and you will find a fair few of us have had the interior to bits if you need a hand with anything. Guides for changing brakes over on the other forum as well. And couple other guides for various things.

    Spotted A C4

Generally find the younger crowd have coupes and the older crowd have the hatch. Least round here. Seen a few people similar age to me (23) driving coupes.
  20. Check ebay only thing i can think of. Keep in mind that chances are the standard one wont sound as good. If you cant get them from ebay you can probably still get them from citroen but be prepared to pay a fair chunk of cash for them. You can get after market units which look a lot more OEM in there style and there usually the best quality ones as well.
  21. On a serious note change the headunit is simple few of us have had aftermarket units in for a while. Now there are some issues On a model less than VTR+ you have to put the stock stereo in when you want to change a setting on the trip computer etc. VTR+ and above has all the needed buttons integrated into the steering wheel so the standard stereo is easily taken out without losing any functions. New unit goes in by way of BMW to ISO converters. And the sound quality is generally increased running amps etc is no hardship either. Got 2 in my car and they were fairly simple to install. Couple other guys have subs and amps etc too. The only thing you will loose is if you have rear parking sensors you will lose them. Although some stereos can apparently work with them. others cant. And volume controls etc again some units work with adapters some wont.
  22. Dont notice much difference with my 1.6 with it on or off and consumption is about the same. Seems ot get around 27 - 31mpg. To be honest I've noticed more of a drop in power with the temperatures getting warmer.
  23. iannez does it bugger up the injectors as well just out of curiosity as im sure i read about itdoing that? What exactly does go wrong or can go wrong when you fill up with the wrong fuel?
  24. Id say warranty should cover that if its giving a faulty message.
  25. mine were discoloured but megs NXT wash and a toothbrush and some...swearing cleaned them up a treat.
