  1. Have you checked ebay? Normally one or 2 on there.
  2. Just have a look around the panel for screws and remove them and any other loose trim then pull it away. No idea exactly how to do it in a C2 as I have never taken one to bits. But bit of looking around should reveal the answer. They are normally only held in by 4 or 5 screws and lots of clips.
  3. Mine starts in MPH and stays in MPH.
  4. Had and been using the Camera a while now. Love my 400D now. Some pictures me and a friend took a few weeks ago. http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa315/w.../RWS/?start=all
  5. Trying to sell my house at the moment. And could have been me or my father on the 360 he keeps borrowing it. Dont think he played anything other than the puzzle games on live though.
  6. That your dog in your sig mate? If so wheres the dog thread? ;)
  7. Cause im amazing like that mate. :P Long time no see though Lee hows things?
  8. JBL upgrade is an amp under the front passenger seat sub in the boot and there are only the normal speakers. As far as I am aware there are only 7 speakers. Could be wrong though not got the chance to look at a JBL equipped car yet. The hatch has speakers in the rear doors as well right? Are there not also 2 on the rear shelf to the sides like in the coupé? I can't see how they could "Double up" the speakers though unless there cheating by putting in tweeters elsewhere and counting them. The headunit is the same for all of the cars though only difference is the amplifier and sub and slightly different speakers.
  9. His is the 5 door mine is a Coupe and mine has the same as what he has down...I think.
  10. Should have a set of 2 RCA style audio connections for left and right channel (White and red) and 1 composite video connection (Yellow plug) Not sure if the connections have been changed though. You can hook DVD players, games machines whatever you want up to it but it will only work when your car is at a stop it will cut function to it once the car is moving for legal reasons. There are ways around it but requires spending a couple hundred pounds. It is also illegal to have video in the front when moving...but that does not stop many people.
  11. Its a known issues now that a software update fixes. Quite a few people had the service light come back on after it had been turned off. But most people had the software update done and that was it sorted.
  12. It looks deep but my I had to use a spacer to get my new components in...was a little tricky. As the spacer once put on made it difficult getting the door pods them selves back on. A 30 minute job turned into 3 hours as a result.
  13. Hello there. Glad to hear the cars alright. Hope you guys are all alright as well. My C4 has been perfect for months now thankfully. But looking to change in the near future I think.
  14. Well the little 1.6 can make some fairly decent power with mods it could be built to rival the power of the 2.0 block it's just how much money you want to chuck at it thats an issue. There are even turbo and supercharger kits for this engine from various companies...but its a bit of a waste of cash.
  15. If anything sticking heavy large wheels on a small engined car will have a more detrimental effect due to them not having much in the way of torque to begin with. Thus not as much force to get those wheels moving. Mate of mine went from 15's to 17's on his 1.2 Punto. Acceleration went from slow to non exsistent. I mean the 1.4 - 1.6 C4's are slow to begin with and adding more weight just makes things worse.
  16. You guys seem to miss a very crucial part out in your maths...weight. Metal is heavy. Go from a 16" wheel to a 17" wheel there is more weight thus more unsprung weight. The one area that is the worst area to increase weight on when it comes to vehicle performance. Any unsprung weight you can lose translates to more power at the wheels. And better braking performance and the ability to change direction better. Add weight and you decrease those abilities. Losses though drive train are typically 12 - 15% for FWD car. 15 - 17% for RWD and can be over 25% for AWD cars. Adding bigger heavier whees = slower acceleration even if the rolling radius is the same. Due to more weight this in turn requires more force to move it thus it will decrease available power at the wheels resulting in slower acceleration. If you move to a larger wheel and tyre and the rolling radius is higher your will effectively gear your car higher thus top speed increases. Same as if you go to a smaller wheel and tyre acceleration will increase top speed will drop. You can however put an 18" wheel on that will be lighter than the 16" on there now but only if your willing to pay for a decent wheel. Most will be heavier than what you have now resulting in lower performance. You also have to then consider tyres which can be heavier as well.

    Wozza's C4

The rub strips just pull off. You will need new clips from citroen though if you remove them which are around £1 each. And if you have to replace them all gonna be around £25 or there abouts. Spraying was done by the body shop. Rub strips A and B pillars were done for £50.
  18. Guessing you have the 1.4 or 1.6. Petrol 1.6 should have left a Polo for dead. The 92 HDI and 1.4 are about the same pace as the Polo. 17's might lower the acceleration a touch but I dont think its that much.
  19. I have only broken 1 clip and my door pod have been off 4 times now. And I just yanked on them. The clips you can get in your Peugeot or Citroen dealer fairly cheap should you need to replace them...cheaper at Peugeot if I remember correctly.

    My Alfa 156

I'm not a fan of spoilers on most cars. Only have the one on the C4 as it looks wrong without it. Agree about bodykits though most cars look crap with body kits etc. Subtle is the way to go. 300hp through a chassis like this is a bit much. They were never designed with that kind of power in mind. Although if your putting an LSD on there might help matters a bit. The Autodelta 147 manages to put its 400+hp to the ground so might not be that bad. Although im guessing the torque steer is quite bad.
  21. Measured at the crank like every other car on the market. No manufacturer quotes wheel horsepower. Get that power by having it quite far up the rev range engine has to be worked as a result but most high HP N/A cars do so nothing new there.

    My Alfa 156

Love these my mate had one got rid for a Lexus and then regretted it a few months later. Such nice cars. Any other plans for mods to it? Know there are supercharger conversions and the like available for these.
  23. Ford aren't doing well and neither are GM either. They go so do most of the car companies. Why Ford have been selling off certain assets like Aston Martin. Which is a good thing least Aston Martin is now a properly British company again. And with prodrive owning them can only be good for there newer cars coming out. DBS is possibly the greatest looking car ever produced. JD power surveys its always the same really certain cars always score really well and others dont. I just dont get how the Prius scores so well. They handle badly, They're slow and they're not enjoyable to drive the only way you can get the MPG they quote is to baby it big time. Its also incredibly ugly yet got better marks than pretty much every car in the segment for its looks. I am yet to meet someone who thinks its an attractive car and makes them want to rush out and buy one.
  24. Depending on the unit you replace it with you can keep your steering controls. To get the radio to work you will need a BMW to ISO converter. And an aerial adaptor too.
  25. I personally think the 307 is horrible theres just nothing good about it looks wise. Guy across the road has one and to think they share a lot fo the C4's components it just looks awful next to the C4. Pugs of old were good new ones not so much. The JD power thing I always find rather weird. Explain to me how the 180hp corolla is termed as a good performing car but the 180hp C4 which is faster gets marked down for performance. It seems rather strange to me. Im also trying to work out how the Toyota prius got the most appealing exterior in the segment...I mean honestly! No one can say the prius is a good looking car. Then we have the Mechanical reliability thing. Baring in mind the 307 and the C4 are basically the same car with a different shell how does 1 score badly in reliability and the other doesn't? Then you have the focus that also shares the engines which again is different. I would rather speak to owners about the cars first as I have heard a lot of people bad mouth certain cars. Like my friend he is a Focus fan boy. Ripped me for buying the C4 because it was a cheap shitty French car. I gave him the keys and told him to have a go and he now praises the things and even said it actually fells more solid than the Focus. There also quite a few guys on here who have had focus's and moved to C4's and are happier with the C4. These Customer service things just seem very odd. Especially how as again the Prius gets 3 ticks for performance yet the Vauxhall astra gets a cross. as does the renault megane, 307 and C4... It just seems completely stupid I mean honestly the highest powered Prius is a 1.5 yet the 2.0 turbo cars are slow. To me it seems rather biased.
