Do you use fragrence free soap as your nostrils must be working overtime?!
-
Its all a marketing ploy to get you back in the dealer and to buy more air freshener refils!
-
Do you not think then perhaps there are sensors in the front seats and not in the back ones? Just a thought. ;) Just thoguht as the front seat squabs do not get folded over flat.... All this fangdangled tercknology is new to I! :)
-
that would seriously get on your tits if 95% of the time you were the only person in the car, being reminded that 4 seats are empty!:) Its all timed as well as you can drive a few hundred yards upon start up before the lights go out.
-
Not sure what you are asking Skaramanga....? :) ;) Are you asking if about turning off the warning? Or where the sensors are or how it works? The belt buckle holders on the back seats have wires comming out of them and would imagine that these are the "switch" that determins which ones are in use or not. Havnt a clue how the system works but would imagine that once the switch has been activated then the car looks for increase in MPH and if this is interupted at any point by undoing the belt the warnings go off... Hope this helps?!

Doesnt Ciaran have a 1.4? Perhaps he's the man to ask...
-
Not a C4 but of similar size, my mate had a Focus 1.4 and that struggled badly. Have read a review of a 1.4 C4 and it said that it was ok, however with smaller engined cars and larger bodies, I believe you need a long test period to really asess to meet your requirements. Once loaded with 4 people and luggage I bet it is a complete beast.

Did someone mention nipples? :D
-
Well you see this is my thinking, they must be about as heavy as bugger all as they still have that 80's Citroen quality build therefore thin panels and they look fragile! = lightweight. Quick of the line perhaps but top speed minimal. Ugly....perhaps but there is something about them that is a bit purposeful. Allthough the posistion of the back wheels makes it look ungainly! I believe a set of the wheels on the Visa are the same used on the AX GT and can go for a bit on ebay every once in a while. Found this site LINK where a guy has modded one for sprint. Claims it pushes out 170bhp and does 0-60 in 6.5..... :D

Oh please lets not turn this forum into an over regimented, highly moderated forum please....I like it just the way it is :P We all have a banter, talk random nonsense every now and more often so lets not spoil it! If we do Wozza wil be doing overtime otherwise!

Who was complaining? I dont remember anything being said?
-
Have no idea where he has got it from, I didnt get much chance to discuss too much as I am in work... Its only after the call did it twig what the car was...I can imagine they have significantly more body roll than a C4! Still be interesting to see what comes of it, certainly something a little different. Welsh- someone did this to me the other night joining the M32, he insisted to cut me up in doing so on the aproaching roundabout and commenced titting about....he was in a Yaris T Sport...and I was gone :D :P

I'm about 5mins from Castle Coombe but their noise regs are "tight" to say the least. My mate took his bike up there the other week and was border line pass completly standard kit, no mods. if you dont pass you only get 75% of your money back. The locals complained about the track noise after they all bought houses next to a race track. :D :P

Looking at the rules its better that you are under the age limit and not over the weight limit of 18 stones as applied to most track days! 18 stones s------q---------u--------e------------e---------z-----------e---------d in to a track all in one :D :P

Watch out for those damp corners Ciaran... What ever happened to those points being applied to your licence anyway?
-
Right... Just had a call from my mate. At the weekend he has just bought a Citroen Visa GTI as a "project". This probably means as any of his other projects, a car that is held together with tape and blu tak and if it went above 20mph bits would start to fall off. Anyone know any history of these cars? I'd imagine being light and made of tin foil and a Pug 205 GTI (1.6) engine (anyone clarify?) in them they'd go like a ferrit down Ar'Niges trouser leg. He's pulling my plonker saying that running "sweet" if at all...he would be able to give my VTS a run for its money... Need I be scared?! I'm worried about its power (or lack of) and light weight...
-
Dont you just hate chav's ? :) The badges cost no more than 2 or 3 pounds yet they still feel the urge to rob them, causing damage to your car as they do..... :P Oh yeah dispise them. I tell thee though, at the weekend I saw a lad must have been about 18, decked out in the Burberry, Tracksuit and "Classics" looked "right propper".... I dont know why, but I had this immense urge to ask him what the hell does he look like?! I mean I aint no Fashion guru but know what to wear and not to wear...and he just looked a complete nugget. Needless to say I didnt! :D Youth of today... The only reason they steal them is so they can stick them onto their Saxo Fortes for "All show, and no go"

I think you have to have that mentality to get over the things you witness. My mate who is a fireman is at the other end of the coal face and deserves a huge amount of respect....more so now they get stuff thrown at the Fire Engines by local scum and crud...
-
I cant imagine they are difficult to get off, however I can imagine getting the new ones to stay on will be a different story! Looks like the previous owner of my VTS has had someone give it a try as there is a small touch up mark just by the V and looks the same size ish of a screwdriver!
-
Exactly I have seen this topid debated until people got huffy and started to hurl abuse. Fact is, it makes no odds to the driving, your car thinks its doing better MPG but then I could be driving along in a 95MPH tail wind...
-
At 20mph you couldnt have even put on the cruise control?! :D That MUST have been a challenge keeping it at 20mph itchy right foot and all that :P

Welsh Remember if you default on a payment it will be all held against you in the furture for any means of credit not just mobile phones. Besides which you will also be charged a fee on top of the direct debit not going out. I recently changed mortgages and they started to pull out the history from when I was 17! Told them to stick it. Wozza how the bloody hell did you get your 100 quid?! :P :D I've been with O2 since before they were O2 and prior to them being called BT Cellnet (Yes remember them?) as a customer when it was called BT Genie?! The most I ever got out of O2 was 20quid for a complaint I made!

Been running the VTS on 99RON from Tescoids, only cos its been on cheap for a couple of weeks. Marginally better performance and a few more MPG's per £, also the distance to next fill up has altered from the usual. Performance wise say it has a bit more pedal responsivness but wouldnt say its amazing or makes any real great difference. As soon as the price goes up again I'll go back to good ol 95. Then I would imagine if there are any significant difference they would notice more.

Are you lucky/unlucky enough to live in an area where SPECS speed cameras are used? Well good news...a fundamental flaw has been found with them to make them inoperable... Its a cheap, effective solution requiring no wiring or purchasing of fancy equipment, no gimmicks or trickery...It comes as standard fit with all cars on the UK roads and most drivers... All you need is... a left hand Indicators and Steering Wheel SEE HERE
